wonderful value hotel, the continental breakfast is very basic but it is included in the great value price of this hotel anyway, and for a few peso's you can get yourself a cooked side to go with your continental breakfast. To the well travelled you will enjoy this hotel as you will know what value you are getting, to the less travelled and expecting western 3 or 4 star hotel standards for this price well you will be disappointed.
We enjoyed our stay there and would certainly be back given the chance to get back to CDO

You must do white water rafting - incredible experience

i have stayed at this hotel several times and the first time was last year in june. since then i believe it has new owners who are all about getting as much money out of you as they can. the reason i say this is because last june the breakfast included you had a choice, but now they give you what they call continental breakfast which is toast(the toast was never done properly i had to send it back to be browned) and some fruit and if you like to have an extra cup of coffee(which is instant coffee not brewed)they charge you. also i accidently knocked a glass off the table and it broke, i was charged piso for this. the staff are very good and look after you great but i won't be staying there again.

this is my second stay at marigold, and it was even better than my first. the rooms are very clean, and beds are comfortable. they have a wide selection of beverages in the mini-fridge at reasonable prices. we really enjoyed are stay here, and will do so again for our next visit!

Our stay in Marigold Hotel was very nice. Very accessible. The staffs are very hospitable, always at their good service and with a smile in their faces. I like the room, small but clean.
Breakfast was not very good, for two breakfast that we had, the same menu was served.

your staff is very courteous. we were pleasantly surprised with the 3 bed dorm type. beds were well made. they even packed our breakfast for our early flight back to manila.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
thai me up is a must-eat-at resto. a trip to camiguin is a good way to spend the day.so is the del monte plantation where you can enjoy a bottomless glass of pineapple juice and juicy steaks at their clubhouse.

good hotel if you're on a budget. it's close to the malls and there are a number of restaurants around the area. from the hotel, you can explore the city on foot. the staff are also helpful and gave suggestions on places to eat and visit. the rooms are small but clean and comfortable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Try whitewater rafting and take a side trip to Bukidnon and do the zipline.
