I have stayed at the Marigold before and wasn't too pleased with the complimentary breakfast, but this time they have provided a decent breakfast and I was very pleased with the staff who are willing to help in any way to make your stay a good one. I stayed there this time because it was close to where I needed to do business and it was very easy to find my way around.

I checked in and found the room to be sub-standard.I upgraded and still found the room not to my liking.I was there for two nights and decided to check out.I was charged for the entire 30 days I had reserved.I found this to be totally unfair.The hotel was greatly misrepresented by its add online.I would expect a refund;but I probably will not get one;please response.....Richard D. Great Hotel for Budget Travelers
Good location since it's near restaurants (Sentro 1850, the Night Market), banks, convenience stores, and the Limketkai Mall.

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Restaurant service was quick and efficient. The rooms, though a bit small and spartan, were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious, and likewise clean.
Restaurant Tip:
Sentro 1850 was a great find, with cheap but delicious food.

i stayed for a couple of nights.
The hotel is ok, shower is ok, room is ok though sober and looks like a hospital room.
For the price u can get way better hotels.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
a lot to do round cagayan. In the city are some good clubs and bars. Park cafe is nice and silver rain is a good place to hang out and dance the night away.

Stayed here as needed overnight rest before ferry trip to Manila. Thought of other hotels nearer to port area, But Marigold is on road across highway and goes straight towards Puntod Wharf and Ferry Terminal for 2GO ferries. Restaurant here is quite good with good quality food served - I had a lovely baked tuna belly, garlic rice, and fruit platter total cost P 325 ( A$7.75) .

Easy walk to Centrio behind the Provincial offices and past the Medical Center to the west entrance to Centrio

Extended my stay during typhoon Pablo. Good decision... felt safe and secure... minimal disruptions. Excellent WiFi and the cable TV was pretty good too.
Restaurant overpriced but well prepared and tasty.
Shopping Tip:
Close to the new Centrio Mall.... Moon Cafe have the Sweet Chili Squid!
But not far from Lemketkai Mall either
