nice place, but no good beach

i booked it for diving. but they have no dive shop anymore now. the next dive shop is a 200 m walk away - no problem, because after fixing your dives, they pic you up at the baech of the hotel.
the hotel looks a little bit dark, because there are a lot of trees around. so not much sun. but i understand, it helps to keep temperature down.
there is no big beach at the hotel only about 4 m. but there is a nice terace with chairs, sun lounger and hammoks.
the room was ok, but a lot of ants are running around. not cheap for what you get, but ok.
the food is very good.
you can rent a bike at the hotel and should drive around to see more of camiguin - it is a nice island.
very good diving place!!!!

Secret Cove is a no-nonsense simple, comfortable place to be right by the sea, on Camiguin Island.
I will always have fond memories of waking up each morning, stepping on to my veranda, and seeing the sun-adorned bright blue sea, only steps away, and the gazebos of Secret Cove, empty under palm trees,and lying right next to the sea.A hotel worker was always
energetically sweeping the stone paths in front of me, and keeping the paths free from falling
leaves.
My room was was simple,but comfortable.The bathroom was clean,and the shower always had hot water.
A few good restaurants( including the one at the hotel) were within a very short walk away. They served both Philpino and western food at very reasonable prices.
The owner Tom, was very affable, informative,and interesting. I would often wile away the hours during the morning, eating my breakfast, while listening to Tom' s stories of his experiences of travel abroad, and his wonderful ex-pat life( he ' s Canadian) in this paradise
of an island.
Rates at this resort are very reasonable, and make for a great choice, for a budget traveller.

stayed here 2 nights and positiwe experience it was indeed,
room was clean but hankecheef smelled bad, aircon ok, not much mosquitos , food there ok but abit expenciewe, butiful wiew of beach and white island possible to watch alltime, able to swim in safe water, very safe place, tks for us

The place is small and quite; the rooms have the basics, also small, but sufficient; the sandy beach is tiny as pointed out bu other reviewers,but this should not be blamed on the owner. It is just a fact. Staff performance is very good; a friendly bunch of people. A dive operator is a few walking minutes away. Downside is that it is very dark to get to the hotel at night (no lights). During my stay all electricity was switched off by municipality for a couple of hours in the evening. This cannot be blamed on the hotel, but was definitely awkward.

We enjoyed a few days in april 2012 at Secret Cove Beach Resort. Nice and kind owners. Good and clean rooms with a minibar. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the resorts terrace and very highly appeciate their serving us outside at the terrace.
The offer the best food there on a good standard, not cheap but imho valuable and no reason to hide.
