location, pool, restaurant and room amenities were quite good. I didn't like the first room given me because of mosquitos in the room that began attacking my guest and I immediately upon settling into the room. I complained to staff, while pointing out to them that the mosquitos were entering the room from large thresh hold opening of two doors to the room. Hotel staff quickly assigned me a upgraded room, free of mosquitos, which I was very pleased.I commend hotel staff for their prompt attention to my request.
Staff was friendly, courteous, responsive and attentive to our needs.

The staffs are nice....They clean the room everyday....The resort looks very great... The location is too remote...if you want to stay in the hotel only...it would be a good choice... The price of the resort is so cheap...It is good to stay just in the hotel...The room is really nice...but the curtain can be seen through at night time...and the bathroom...people can just stand on the chair outside..then can see what inside the bathroom... but generally..it is good to stay....

beautiful atmosphere. Very courteous staff. The room was comfortable and very clean. I would have liked a better fitness room but I suspect that I am probably in the minority on that issue. It would not stop me from staying there again. The Alta Cebu resort is one of the best places that I have ever stayed. It is definitely a tropical paradise. There are so many plants and trees that it feels like your very far from civilization but there is always someone close by to help whenever you need it. There are plenty of staff on duty there 24 hours a day. I get up at 4 am and work out and there is always someone there to open the door and bring clean towels. I was very impressed with the service and am looking forward to staying there again.
Hotel Feature Tip : The pool is very clean and well maintained. The water was always at a very comfortable temperature.

nice swimming pool and scenery The resort was very beautiful with lush plants and the pool was very nice and big with a eating area right outside. The standard room I stayed in was very nice and modern. The staff is all very friendly and the owner Larry even introduced himself to us. I would stay there again.

The staff is nice and the hotel is good and tidy, with romantic views and comfortable garden areas. It's too far from the downtown, and no shuttle bus service to the commercial area. It's a nice, quiet and comfortable hotel, but it needs to improve its room and hotel services! We had to wait for an hour in order to get two complimentary water, and no shuttle service to airport and commercial areas. The taxi which was called by the receptionist cost 300 peso instead of meter charge. Anyway, just take a few minutes walk to the main street, and it's easy to get a jeepney to the commercial area. Overall it's good and it's a nice place, especially for those who need some rest. The room is very beautiful and we enjoy staying and resting at the balcony!

Far away from everything but we just needed a place to sleep after a long flight, so it was okay. It took some mailing before they agreed to a free airport pick up even if they promised to do so in their website. But finally we got it.

We discovered that this facility is actually a teaching college and perhaps does not cater to its paying customers as well.
Shopping Tip : Great place on Cebu called Robinson's Place which has decent shopping and a small Internet cafe/restuarant on the bottom floor with the best food and very cheaply priced.

General service levels will improve as staff perceive different requirements of students and holiday makers. But location is wrong for those who want a beachfront holiday.
