Friendly place
Diving easily arranged, close to beach, good smoothies
6.3
The native cabins lacked good ventilation. Air-conditioner was noisy. Prefer ceiling fans and more windows. No swimming pool, but the sea was close by.

Lovely beach-side resort of reasonable price
Diving courses and equipment offered, friendly staffs, away from the city
8.7
Run by a friendly Belgian couple, the resort offers the best environment for any travelers who wants to spend a relaxing holiday by the beautiful sea. The resort is not of fancy sort but more of a cozy, neat, peaceful style.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
2-hr away from Cebu city downtown. The resort offered pick-up service from/to the airport.

snorkelling just in front of the guesthouse
nice staff, good snorkelling, nice atmosphere
8.3
I had a very nice stay at A-B-Resort and extended it with a couple of days. This is small beachside guesthouse. with a nice laid back atmosphere. The staff is very nice and friendly. You can go snorkelling right in front of the guesthouse. The price was reasonable. The rooms are a little too dark and I had to tell them I needed a lamp for reading (and I got one within 5 minutes). No restaurants near by but the food in then restaurant is good, but I found it a little for expensive. The good thing is that they ask you in advance what you want for dinner and what time you will have your dinner. That makes you don't have to wait for 45 min - 1,5 hours for your dinner, which happened to me quite often in the Philippines.
So, if you like to stay in a resort/guesthouse which is basic and you don't mind the place has not much around because you want to dive, snorkel and have a nice time with other guests, this is a perfect place! If I go to Moalboal again I will, without doubt, stay here again.

The loveliest resort in the whole of Moalboal
Excellent value for money, the comfortable homey atmosphere, and the hospitable owner and his dog
8.3
Asian Belgian Resort far exceeded the expectations of this jaded island hopper. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect, at such a generous price, the level of hospitality and friendliness showered on me by the staff, the dive operator, the marketing head, and, of course, the owner himself, not to mention the resident Rottweiler. The native cottages, although spartan in design, were cozy and comfortable, were built around a tropical garden still in progress but beautiful nonetheless, and the resort itself is located on a limestone bluff just 100 meters away from a spectacular reef wall. To describe the marine flora and fauna there would exhaust my store of superlatives. Suffice to say that my marine adventures there were unlike any other.

People in hotel are very kind and nice. the dog is also friendly for the guest. sometimes he can go with you for snokling in to the water. and you can have a nice view during sunset. cool wind starts after sunset to refresh you. we can see lots stars in the sky. but there are some ants in the room. generally i can not complain this hotel with price. it was nice staying.
Shopping Tip:
there is no place to buy something. so you' d better buy something you need before going to this resort.

Laid back five resort with the nicest sea view
10
The room and the bathroom are really clean and the linens and towels provided smells fragrant and are very clean, hangers for clothes are aplenty!!!
There is a stairway leading to the sea giving direct access without much time wasted. Short walk to Teh white beach during low tides.
Great place for snorkeling and even greater place for diving.
It is one of the rare dive resorts that has very good quality dive equipments that are so well maintained
Friendly owner Daniel and spouse and a lively dog Jockey!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Tricycle rides should be 150 pesos and less
