Expensive but Nice Interiors

Some of the staff don't know what they are doing especially the one who are assigned in the bar. Foods are too expensive but the taste is bland. Breakfast is the worst. I have no idea why all the items in their breakfast menu are bland. I have stayed in a more affordable beach resorts and they have better breakfast menu than Be's. Everything is overpriced - oh my God! The only thing that made me happy is the whole ambiance of the resort. The interior design is classy. Furniture items are designed . The Cabanas and beans bags in the beach side are also great. I also would like to commend the very courteous and hospitable lifeguard (the one who is assigned in the infinity pool).

Very Average Experience for the price I paid

As I said earlier, it was a very average experience. Claiming to be a beach resort, it was far from one. The so called sand was artificially placed gravel (very coarse) which was extremely hard to walk on. The shore was full of algae and muck and the breakfast was terrible. Would never go there ever or even recommend it to anyone.

Very nice view of the beach

Our kids loved our stay coz they have great pools, play area and lounges by the shore. The resto is pricey but food was great! Room was not so great coz the AC wouldn't turn on the first day we checked in. The fridge was leaking so there was a small puddle by the fridge. It bothered me coz it might cause an accident. When we had food delivery from outside the hotel, the guard and the lobbyist did not coordinate well that the delivery boy waited for almost an hour outside the hotel (happened twice). Other than those, the place was really cozy, relaxing, and the staff are all friendly.

The place is small, peaceful and quite. The Breakfast is not good. Rooms are already not very clean compare to our first visit. The facilities are not properly maintain anymore. I have high expectations, because this is our second visit to this place, there were no improvements.
But the place is good to relax and have peace and quite time for yourself and family.

Decent Mactan location & quality but poor service

Be Mactan is a budget option next to the much better Shangri-La & Movenpick. The hotel is relatively modern & has quite good beach & pool areas. The hotel is however let down by terribly poor all-round service & staff who are not adequately trained. Forgotten drinks, severely delayed food orders, blank stares to questions, breakfast buffet virtually empty, bar staff claims hotel "has no coffee" etc. etc.

Nice pools but the service is not good at all.

We booked for two nights. The experience was okay but not so good. There are good points and bad points, so I will just start first with the good points. The pool was nice, the cavanas in the beach was really nice. It is a good spot to relax at the beach front. The lifeguards are very attentive and accomodating to the guests there. Swimming was the only good experience we had. When we entered our room we already had problem with our aircon. Water from the unit made the sitting area by the window so wet . Then the towels were so worn out already. The worst part was when we checked out and bringing our things back to the car, the personnel did not even helped us with our things. But when a korean was also heading out behind us they helped them with their things. They are only attentive to foreign guests but so rude to the locals. The restaurant was even understaffed. We have to call their attention over and over again to get our order. We will definitely wont ever book there again.

Family oriented hotel and accomodating staff
The ambiance of the hotel's lobby is just marvelous!

We went to Cebu as a family of eight and my 6 children enjoyed our stay at the Be Resorts Hotel. Most particularly they had fun spending their time at the entertainment/gameroom followed by their long stay at the swimming pool up to 10pm! The staff are all very accommodating and is ready to assist clients in their particular needs. We wouldn't mind staying in this hotel on our next visit

The place itself is really nice, the staff was warm, welcoming and accomodating. The hotel facilities were still new and well-maintained. Although, the F&B service was slow and a bit pricey for wha is being served and they were under-staffed. I thinks the resort management should lok into that aspect.
Over-all, it's a good resort worth going to.
