Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Ovelooking the Beach & Excellent view at Sunrise
Location, friendly Staff, Value for money
9.3
The place and its surroundings were excellent. Being off season for tourists that time, we had difficulty in engaging a public boat due to scarcity of passengers to fill the trip at minimum capacity of 15. However, I called the Hotel desk and he quickly arranged for a chartered boat to take us to the island quickly. My wife and I really enjoyed our 2-day stay in the island. The Hotel Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was basic and good enough for our standard. There are a good number of options at night time along the entire stretch of the beach; a choice of good number of restaurants and bars are situated conveniently in the area. Generally, the prices of food and other items within the island are very reasonable and cheaper compared to other well-known resorts in the country. The place is very safe and the people are friendly and honest. The weather is at its best. I plan to take a larger group next time, especially the relatives and friends.

Fantastic location with awe inspiring views.
The view... The location... Nice staff

The room was nice and roomy and comfortable, but somehow I missed the fine print and ended up booking a "fan-only" (no air con)...that said, with the windows open we got the breeze off the beach and had the fan keeping us cool. Surprisingly, we didn't get eaten alive by mosquitos.

Lovely location and very friendly staff!
Location, staff and the island
8.3
Wonderful staff who made us feel like family. We stayed for 10 days and our kids loved the place, the staff and the whole island. Was invited to a very enjoyable tripp and barbecues by the owners of the hotel. I would certainly recommend this hotel and we will definitely return next time we travel to the Philippines. Best rooms are located to the west and have balconies with wonderful sunsets.

Nice property, great location

Bold is perhaps an understatement, white with bright blue accents but this is in a great location. It is handy to most dive shops and restaurants on Malapascua. Our room was about the last available on the island due to Chinese New Year bookings and it was basic, fan butno air conditioning but it was clean and tidy. There is a nice bar outside with all-round views. Breakfast was simple but acceptable and the staff, while unobtrusive, were helpful and friendly as is typical of the Philippines. Nice place, will stay again but I will try for an air conditioned room
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Great diving at Monad shoal with the thresher sharks, but there are heaps of other sites too. Nice place to relax as well as slip in a few dives!

highly recommended
friendly staff extraordinary views

my wife and i are from the us and we were very impressed with both the ammendities and the service. the manager/owner (vivian) greeted us with a smile and offered an "open door policy" for anything we needed. she saved us $ going to and from the island on boat and taxi and also helped us to book snorkling and diving trips as their are many dive shops all selling trips at different cost.we looked at all the resorts on the island and we wanted to share this experience...we are definatly going back to blue corals resort....thank you

I love Blue Corals Beach Resort!
The bar facing the beautiful beach! I also loved my veranda facing the whole island.

blue corals beach resort gave me the best stay ever. i paid a very reasonable price of experiencing malapascua in just 2 days. the crew of the hotel are very welcoming and accommodating. for other tourists, please take note that some crew are a little bit shy but they're trying their best, i promise! i also had a free ride to cebu city. the owners spirits are amazing! what a very kind family.
tip: take room #4 facing the beach. the view is fantastic! you can even drink in the veranda when you decide not to go out at night.

the rooms are ok, but pretty small, especially if you stay there with 4 children.
the staff said that the rooms where large enough for this, but they are in fact not very large.
beach close to the hotel is not good for pllaying with the kids.
however, the staff is very nice and friendly!
stay here if you dont midn walking for five minutes to a better part of the beach!

Great location but overpriced
Great breakfast view, with hot shower,
4.7
I stayed more than a week, but they never cleaned my room, never replaced my towels nor my sheets.
Breakfast was mediocre (instant coffee or black tea no complimentary milk).
Dining area was dirty, there was a dog, sometimes some loud noise from telly/ radio.
Running water was reliable. So was electricity.
Great location, but i think overpriced. I've been to other island resorts faced with greater logistical challenges, yet i got excellent meals and service and above all, good taste. Blue corals needs improvements.

the hotel had a great location and a great view. rooms were big and clean, but there was no tv and there the wifi connection was not that good. overall, i would recommend this hotel since your here to relax and not to watch tv nor surf the internet. overall, i would say that our stay here was good.
