Nice staff and restaurant
The rooms were a bit dreary, not colourful and dark. The rooms could be made more colourful and inviting. The staff were mostly all friendly and helpful in general. The restaurant food quality was very good and the setting quite comfortable. Service was generally good, but the kitchen could use some help in scheduling / coordinating the food delivery for a table.....getting all food for persons dining to the table at one time, so one does not have to wait until the other diner's food is served.
Restaurant Tip : Restaurant at the hotel is good and is good value

A friendly at home feeling. A one of a kind peaceful resting place. The staff is amazing with there friendly and helpful attitude. Every staff member I have met seems to me to feel that it is their total responcability to make your stay perfect.... and they do that job very well!! The food is some of the best you will find and the varity should meet anyones tastes.
There is truely not one thing I dislike about Casa Escano. The only thing I would like to see different would be a swimming pool..... but with being in the islands you have no problem finding a beautiful beach to swim and sunbath on.
I can't say enough about this wonderful and beautiful bed and breakfast. From the cleanliness of the whole place to the fine food and to the friendliness of the owners and the staff, when I come to Casa Escano it is like visiting close family/friends and my only waypoint in Cebu. After over 6 months since my last stay the whole staff remembered me called me by name and greeted me as if we where life long friends..... which I truely feel about each of the staff/ownered at Casa Escano. If you pass up a stay at Casa Escano you will have truely passed up what I feel to be a life time memory.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A great centeral base for either city shopping or for Island touring or for visiting any part of the Philipines. Cebu has it all... international airport, domestic flights to all of the Philippines, beautiful beaches and centerally located in the Philippines. If Cebu is the Oyster of the Philippines, Casa Escano is the pearl!!

I have stayed here several times and will always consider Casa Escano my first choice of places to stay when in Cebu.
