It was ok, but it didnt seem Deluxe to me
They provided soap and shampoo.

They balanced a glass on the edge of a tray on the sink, it was poorly balanced and fell off one night
AC turns off when you leave the room

Location is good , hotel is under renovation

When I first come in the hotel to check in , the staff gave us a welcome drink. That's was really nice. But I am not happy that the bell service man ask me for luggage fee. Cebu need to pay fee anywhere ! And before one day of my chech out day , I ask the reception for my late check out due I have a evening flight. I was suppost to pay for the late out fee, but the front desk lady said I can check out whenever I want , I was really surprise but the next day ( my check out day) 12 nn. I received a call from front desk, asking me is it I would like to pay for late check out. And they said they never promise me I can check out late. I was so disappointed . The supervisor said maybe some misunderstood . What misunderstood ? Really felt disappointed on my last day in Cebu,.
Shopping Tip:
Sm mall

Nice place but the best thing is the staff
The employees are very good at service with a smile.

The employees did a great job from the time Jonas greeted me on my arrival to the moment that Ivy checked me out. I was very satisfied with my stay there and will stay there every time I go to Cebu. Thank you Jonas, Rommel, Yogi, Driffus, Sarah, Dexsie, Cherry, Patet,Ivy, Iza, Arden, May, Jovelyn, Daphne, and anybody I forgot to name.
The rooms are big and well furnished. The location is ideal to get anywhere in the city: Mall, nightlife, tourist attractions. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is quiet and romantic in the evening but the food isn't great. The gym is not in very good condition but it has enough equipment for a workout. Some of the machines are broken or outdated. The pool is nice but too small to swim laps for exercise. It's adequate for light swimming and to refresh yourself.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
I went to Bohol Island to see the "Chocolate Hills" which was a waste of a day. If you want to see hills go to Tennessee. I also saw the Tarsia (smallest monkey in world) which is native to Bohol. It’s cute but it’s not worth the trip to Bohol just to see it. They sleep in the day so it's the same as looking at a photo of a Tarsia which you can see on line. Just Google it.
ALWAYS get a driver who speaks English and ask the price AND THE DISTANCE TO THE DESTINATION before you get in. NEVER RIDE A MOTORCYLE OR TRICYCLE ON BOHOL. They are small (110cc) and can't get up the hills in Bohol with passengers on it. We had to get out of the tricycle and walk up a hill in the rain because the motorcycle couldn't make it up with our weight (we weigh 225 pounds combined plus whatever the driver weighed.) They also go incredibly slow. Forget Bohol and just stay in Cebu city and go to the beaches nearest to Cebu.

Friendly service and comfy rooms
Flexible staff, comfortable room, central location

First off a big compliment to the chekin staff. When I booked this hotel I indicated "early" checkin. As I arrived in Cebu on a night flight this meant I was at the hotel at 5 a.m. when normal checkin is at 2 p.m. They did not bat an eyelid and simply checked me in. That is what I call customer service!
The room turned out to be a very comfortable room with plenty of space, a nice balcony, fine TV set, acceptable prices for the mini bar and room service. The bathroom also is big, albeit a little dated. Nevertheless, everything works fine and no issue with hot water.
Location wise it is only a 5 minute (about 40-50 Pesos) cab ride to AYALA centre, a big shopping centre / mall with everything from day spa to supermarket and restaurants and live music in the evening.
Ingternet: wifi did not always work, but they have one commputer in the lobby area with internet access which works fine. I cannot remember seeing a printer, though.
Breakfast: could be better, but by all means not bad.
Checkin staff: companion registration appears not to be an issue.
Pool: I was told that there is a pool on the 7th floor but never used it, so I cannot comment on it. People who did use it seemed happy with it.
Shopping Tip:
Ayala Centre.

Lovely excellent choice of stay

If your staying in Cebu for travelling around the city, this is the perfect choice. Ayalla mall is not very far from the Hotel and some other stuff as well. Lapu lapu is pretty far from the Hotel.
Shopping Tip:
Ayalla mall is very close to the Hotel. Ayalla mall is one of the newest shopping malls and very well designed.

Price, food and service along with clean rooms

Not a 5 star hotel but a hotel that offered very clean rooms as well as very kind staff. The breakfast was well done and had a good range to select from. I would stay at this hotel again as it is value for money and although it it not a 5 star rating the staff are equal to the 5 star hotels that I have stayed in

One 'Grand' Hotel
A surprise as to how good this hotel was - would stay there every time when in Cebu everything good.
10
This hotel was the tops, I chose the superior deluxe room for a couple of dollars extra and it was enormous, with huge TV and gallons of hot water. I could live there no problem. Fairly close to both the SM and Ayala malls and also the colon night life, maybe a taxi ride anywhere. The restaurant here was excellent with falang (whiteman) breakfast choice, also the staff were excellent - absolutey not one complaint and I would definitely stay here again probably in February
Hotel Feature Tip:
Great restaurant and service. Check to see that WI FI system has been installed if you want to use computer in your room.
Swimming pool on roof small but deep and in great location to relax between sightseeing.
