Lovely Hotel and Service with a Smile

Firstly,I picked Cebu Grand Hotel from agoda.com and chose the size of a room that had a reasonable price. When I actually arrived at the hotel, I was amazed at the size of the room and really found it worth the value for my money, even more! All the staff looked very presentable and with pleasing personalities, all ready with that hospitable smile. They were such good greeters anytime of the day and would help you with whatever you needed. Surely such a lovely hotel, a pride of Cebu and can be recommended to anyone, specially our foreign guests. Thank You!

Breakfast menu should improve to have more selections and price can be increased to cover more food selections.
Rooms are value for money.
Staffs are always helpful and smiling especially those in the reception.
Hotel should have a counter for guest who would like to go for sight seeings.
Hotel is a bit out of the nite spots for guest to enjoy and relax.

i love the rooms, big and cozy!

i love the stay in this hotel, the personnel are so friendly, accomodating and helpful. Guards even call cab for me. the bathrooms are also big so as the room.
the buffet breakfast is so delicious and has a wide range of food.

They ran out of superior and deluxe rooms so we got upgraded to the executive suite for free, which was lovely! Their staff are nice and friendly, and the location of the hotel is great, close to Ayala Center and the Capitol. I would stay at this hotel again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There's a Catholic church right across the street, if you need one.

as staff are helpful to wave intaxis when required

The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. I was sick for part of my stay and they made sure to bring up my breakfast to me though it was supposed to be buffet served in the dining area (the breakfast that came free with the booking).
I did have a problem with the wifi though. My associate was able to connect though it was very slow. I however was unable to connect at all. For what reason I don't know. They kept giving me additional usernames and passwords but to no avail.
Nevertheless this is a fairly okay hotel for the price and though not central for my purposes, it's still only 5mins or less away from the central business district.

Old hotel but worth the stay

Only stayed for a night but it was worth it. The room was a bit old but was surprisingly big. Did not have a chance to sample their inhouse restaurant food though.
The hotel does have a gym and a pool. Unexpected for a hotel of this size. They also featured some WIFI facilties but did not have the chance to try it though.
The location of the hotel is great for those who want to stay in a safe place but relatively away from the noise and from the hustle and bustle of the city. The disadvantage however is that it is difficult to find a better restaurant or places of interest nearby.
In general, the hotel was a bit old and boring but does have facilities not common for hotels of this size.
Shopping Tip:
About 5mins to Ayala mall by taxi.
