Glad that I found this hotel.Hot water, in the shower would be very nice but I can live without it. I'm used to it.My daughter complained about the hot water. As long as I stay safe in that area.I'm fine. I'll be back to stay there again.

The employee of the hotel are very helpful. Clean rooms.

No hot water

  • Shopping Tip : Shopping mall

I really liked the Midtown hotel and think it is an excellent value for money. Staff is really helpfull, breakfast is very interesting with a mix of Asian and European dishes. The only minus is the lack of service and attention in the restaurant at breakfast time, but everyone is so nice that you don't even feel like complaining!

i liked the location, the fact that it is attached to a mall where you will find everything you need, the staff friendliness, the breakfast buffet, the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel in general

Pity they do not have safe in the rooms (nevertheless available at reception).Attention to details is a bit lacking such as TV not working when I arrived, bedside lamp out of order, no laundry bags

  • Restaurant Tip : Have brreakfast at the hotel but for good value for money lunch/dinner go to the shopping mall or nearby restaurants, not the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. They have a very nice breakfast buffet with made to order omelettes and a great view of the island. The convenience of the shopping center and restaurants and grocery store downstairs was very nice. The room was very nice, but far from a five star hotel. There was no coffee maker in the room which I have gotten very used to these days. It does not stand out as being a great hotel, but I would definitely stay there again. If you are looking for high class, then this is not for you, but the average person will be satisfied.

Nice. Clean. Conveniently located. Nice breakfast buffet.

No coffee maker in rooms.

  • Restaurant Tip : Get the made to order omelette and fresh fruit for breakfast buffet.

Good, it's too good for the budget. Good breakfast, nice room, good staff, good to do shopping. Love to book next time.

I'm happy that your service is good, hotel is good for that budget, normally I stay at 5-star, I was happy with the hotel also, it's good. Thanks for your suggestion.

There is no tea-maker in the room.

  • Shopping Tip : It's good location for shopping. It's in between the heart of the city.

Overall quite a pleasant stay and good value for money, except for the food in the restaurant in the evenings. The gymn and swimming pool staff were exceptionally good and helpful. Most of the house staff are very pleasant and helpful. Quite a gracious and comfortable hotel although one gets the impression that it has seen better days and could do with some refurbishment. Well worth a 4 star category, but needs to look at some aspects of maintenance in bathrooms and the standard of food and service in the restaurant in the evenings.

Pleasant swimming pool although a bit small. Pleasant restaurant, but food not always good. Convenient for Robinson's Mall. Gymn particularly good, because the staff were so helpful and attentive. Free bottled water each day in rooms. Good breakfast with plenty of choice, although at busy periods they had insufficient of some things occasionally laid out for the number of guests. Good central location for shopping, lots of Western restaurants nearby.

Often there was not hot water in the bathrooms. The front door of the hotel is situated at a high level in the block, and thus access for taxis etc. is difficult. Shower and other facilities in bathrooms broken. Air conditioning in some rooms did not work. Food in the evenings seemed to be bought in from outside caterer and was often cold by the time the waiters served it. Waiters tended not to be very helpful in evenings and became agitated if a customer complained about the food being cold. Also often the music in the evenings was deafeningly loud. To walk anywhere from hotel except to mall was not pleasant, because there were many beggars living on streets and even on the pedestrian bridge which you are forced to use, and they could be quite aggressive.

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A taxi trip around offers lots to see, particularly if you go to the coast for a day (include "Lapu-Lapu" where Magellan first landed in Philippines and was eventually killed by Lapu-Lapu) and see parts of the older Cebu on the way).

I had stayed there very comfortably. But if you enjoy a great hotel, it would be better to choose Water front or Marco Polo.

It was good compared to cost. Clean and easy to find the location.

Swimming pool, I'm not going to recommend this hotel to people who want to enjoy hotel pool.

  • Nightlife Tip : If you are male, you can find Bikini bar easily near this hotel

I needed to be on business downtown at Crown Regency hotel. This hotel was a bit cheaper so I stayed there. It is connected to shopping mall so you do not have to go outside if you want to shop so it is nice for that. I stayed in a superior room which I was told was only on level 5 and 6 of the hotel and all the other levels are deluxe? I am not sure about that but I was told that when I asked for a higher floor to move to. Make sure you ask for a room with a view because some of the rooms are facing the building. I did not eat the breakfast but the lobby area has been redone and looks nice. I believe this hotel is more for the single traveller if you know what I mean.

Location is in center of town if that is what you are looking for

Rooms are old and smell, no internet in rooms, shower did not work well. Had to hold down toliet in order to flush it. No iron provided in hotel.

  • Nightlife Tip : There is a bridge connecting the hotel to cross to the other side of the road, I would not use this at night time.

I recommended this hotel to those who want be in the city. It's like you are within distance to everywhere you want to go.

  • Restaurant Tip : There's the Whowking, McDonald's and pizza just across the road and even a local seafood opposite 22nd Street comedy bar. It's cheap and there's live band too.
