One of the best
The room, very clean. Food was great! Friendly staff... Simply perfect! And when i'd tried to visit the nearby mall, a personal guard accompanied me on passing the streets till i'd reached the mall entrance.

Sure to be back the next time i'll visit cebu. Hotel did passed my standard. A five star hotel with a great value of money.

Parklane is a centrally located tower, high rise hotel. It offers many amenities for a short stay, location is excellent, Ayala mall and IT Park are great places to go, eat, hang out and shop.. Wireless is complimentary so that is great, and good connectivity exists there.. Great staff and foods 24 hours a day....

friendly and clean
The handicap non smocking room was clean and the

We would stay in this hotel again. The staff was very frienly and helpful. Being in a wheelchair has it's challenges, but this hotel worked for us.The pool water was cool, so was the spa. The gym was well equiped. You could also get items on the pool area. There was a small bar, very intimate. Overall,this was a good hotel that we
would recemmend.

The hotegives free ride to the mall.

near to Ayala Mall, Great service, front desk helpful, great buffet

(bear in mind, this review is in comparison to similar CEBU hotels, and not in comparison to Western, or even Manila hotels) This is my 3rd visit here, and I haven't been dissapointed. I also visited Waterfront Lahug and Marriot. Marriot is the nicer hotel, but you do pay for it. If I'm trying to impress a (western) girl, that's where I would stay. If I'm trying to impress a Pinay, Asian or traveling with friends, family or solo - I'd definately stay at Cebu Parklane. It's hard to beat the value (price : services : room). I've seen other hotels (friend's hotels) so I can compare. If I'm with my (western) GF it's Marriot. If I'm solo, with friends, or with a Pinay GF, definately stay at the Parklane (for value, location, services)
Nightlife Tip:
Walk to Ayala (and Starbucks), 30 pesos cab ride to Mango Ave or Waterfront Lahug (Pagcor casino). IT park (and nightlife) is across the street from Waterfront. The concierge will have the ferry schedule if needed. After 10pm, 50 pesos for a 5 minute cab ride or 200 pesos for a 30 minute cab ride is not unreasonable (if the driver does not put on the meter, they almost always do anyway). Tip accordingly (they net only 500 pesos in an 18 hour shift).

The hotel staff were some of the nicest people you would want to meet. They were alway friendly with smiles and more then happy to help you in any way. Service from the front desk was very fast. The main restaurant was a little pricy, but the food was good and did not get sick. The water in the pool and cool, but clean. We would go back to this hotel, when we go back to Cebu.

Comfortable hotel
1 block from Ayala Mall, central to most of the nightlife, clean, comfortable hotel with a down to earth feel.

I've stayed on a Mactan resort and the Marriot Cebu before, and by those comparisons, Parklane is great value for money. The hotel was comfortable without being pretentious. The included breakfast buffet, though not stellar, was way above average. The cab drivers did not feel the need to rip you off (not like those in front of Marriot and on Mactan), though a rip-off cabbie in Cebu is rare. If I want to impress a date (and pay for it), I'll go to Waterfront Cebu or Marriot. If I want to feel right at home, comfortable and at ease - The Parklane is for me. The price is right and the ease of mind is above par, just what I want and need during a (relaxing) vacation.
Nightlife Tip:
Mango Ave & IT Park bars and Casino is not more than ~45php away (ten min). Get a room in the back looking towards the hills to avoid the construction eyesore and the street noise.

Once we upgraded our room we felt comfortable & enjoyed the free massages for executive suits.

The hotel was average for the price. I guess if you want something with class in the Philippines you need to spend lots of money. But value for money at Parklane speaks for itself.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Ask the front desk about the free cocktails for executive suits. There is another room on the higher floors that offers this.

The hotel is everything you would want..clean rooms..helpful staff who couldn't do enough for you..When walking to the shopping mall opposite the hotel a security guard escorted us to the shopping mall stopping traffic so we could easily cross in the busy Cebu traffic..the breakfast was one of the best..Metered taxis at the door and fares always cheap..the only downfall..the phone never worked and we could not recieve incoming calls..building site across road needs lane way cleaning so you can walk to mall easier.Swimming pool view not to good at the moment as looking out on building site..Recommend this hotel but try to request a back room lovely views of mountains and quiet..
Shopping Tip:
Ayala Shopping Mall across from hotel great for shopping and eating..walking on some areas not advised as street children hassle you for money..great diving off Mactan Island..
