parklane hotel
Convenient to Ayala center.
6.3
We had a very good stay at Cebu parklane. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The room was nice and clean. The gym looked very nice but we preferred to relax in the pool. The breakfast buffet was large with both western and eastern choices.

Three weeks at Parklane International Hotel
Staff performance, friendly but professional, always at hand when needed.

I found the hotel to be in an excellent situation for going out shopping as the Ayala Mall was literally five minutes walking distance away. The roads to cross in order to get to Ayala Mall were two and both were busy, but with attention to the traffic and observing the way locals crossed them, it could be done safely. Hotel staff was friendly but professional in manner, an excellent breakfast was provided and the restaurant food was very good too. There was live music in the evening, also a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi. The Chinese Temple to visit was near by and altogether the time spent at the hotel was memorable and enjoyable .
Restaurant Tip:
Take full advantage of breakfast served from six am to ten am. Planty time to eat and it is excellent. Must not be missed.

It was my second time in this hotel. The first time was an excellent stay, but the second time was terrible due to the noise. The first night I was in a room directly affected by the renovation work on the next floor. I was then moved to another floor where this time it was people shouting for hours in the corridors. However, the staff is very nice and efficient. The swimming pool is not user friendly and facing the construction of a new building. The standard of the rooms are very different, try to get one that was recently renovated.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Don't go for a high floor, too much noise. Don't hesitate to ask to change room if you stay more than one day.

park lane hotel Cebu
A very welcome feature of the hotel is their facility at the airport. The young man there was most helful
9.3
I found the hotel to be very comfortable, indeed verging on the 5star rating. The staff were most helpful and pleasant and the food was exemplary that is except for the bacon in the mornings for breakfast. Overcooked. All in all a fine hotel and would reccomend it for any business traveller

Parklane is the BEST!
Excellent staff, breakfast, pool and free in-room internet
10
This is my 4th stay at the Parklane and I prefer it over the other high-end hotels in Cebu City. It's within walking distance to the newly enhanced Ayala Mall, finally offers free in-room wired internet access, offers nice entertainment/drinks on the 4th floor near the pool and speedy elevators and had an outstanding breakfast buffer. Top notch. I'd stay again for my next 14 day trip.
Shopping Tip:
Ayala Mall has been refurbished and now offers relaxing outdoor dining at many nice eating and coffee establishments.

Parklane Cebu Stay
Location & Good buffet breakfast
8.3
Overall, our stay was very pleasant. The location of the hotel is perfect and the hotel price we got from Agoda is reasonable. The only negative pt is the inability of the hotel housekeeping to provide me with my request for rubber mat to be placed at the bath tub ( I was with my mother). Followed it up 2x but my request did not arrive.
Restaurant Tip:
Restaurants at the nearby IT park are good & reasonably priced.

Not very satisfied
Convenient to Ayala center, breakfast is very good.
6.3
Its not worth the money I paid. Check in was very slow, it took us about 20 minutes to check in. The bed was very very small. My husband and I booked one bed room, but the bed was just for one person, it had the same size as the one in two-bed room. Besides, the bed was hard and the pillow was high, every day we got up with lumbago.

parklane hotel march 2009
Excellent food, great kind staff, clean rooms.
8.7
The hotel has a good location, walking distance to large mall. The staff was great, from the time you pull up till you leave. The restaurant had great food and large selection. The staff was quick to address any of our needs. Would be nice if the construction across the street stopped before midnight, was noisy, but I would go back again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to ferry terminal, went sightseeing on island of bohol, very nice.

7.7
stay was ok and will plan to stay here again when in cebu city.
Travel tip:
it is a short walk to Ayala Center where the action is. at the moment there are lots of construction work going on so the roads are a bit messy but it should be ok once they are all done.

Nice Hotel But Very Noisy!!!
Great breakfast buffet. Lots of choices. Location. Staff friendly and accomadating.
7.3
This was the first hotel I stayed in Cebu City. Knowing what I know now I would have gone elsewhere. I had resrved a Parklane room and the first room was facing a large construction site. I was so tired from 36 hours in planes and airports that it didn't really bother me. The next day it was rediculous. They started hammering and pile driving at 7AM and by 9AM I was asking for another room. Finally moved about 12 noon to a much quieter room but didn't notice it was next to the elevator. Listened to that going up and down all nite. Moved again to a room away from elevator and had a fairly nice stay from then on.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Only ate breakfast there but selection was very good. Had room service several times and it was quick, hot and accurate. It is within walking distance to Ayala Mall where there are loads of restaurants serving about anything you could ask for. The hotel will provide an escort to walk you to the mall at nite.
All in all, a fairly nice hotel on par with a Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn. Would stay there again after the construction is finished but that looks to be a year or longer away.
Restaurant Tip:
At Ayala Mall there is a very good seafood restaurant called Gerry's and if you have a taste for home (USA), there is a TGI Fridays there. Same menu as the states
