I had a really pleasant stay here, it is very relaxing and the service, food etc was superb, if i come back to cebu i will certainly stay here again .....its better than some of the 5 star hotels i have stayed at on the island

I enjoyed the stay. Food offerings are limited and get boring quickly. They are very picky about you reservation. Inadvertantly I had only indicated 1 person on my reservation. They wanted to charge me more for second person and cut me no slack for my oversight. Finally I had my Agoda voucher revised and everything was fine.

Unhappy vacation...
Hotel envoirment is pretty good, relax and clean.
Two swimming pools and the staff extremely nice
5.7
The superior was disgusting and the little insects are very annoying. The toilet just like a 60's apartment contruction... The beach was full of seeweed. Don't mention about swimming, we even can't and don't want to go to the beach. The food providing by hotel restaurant was not so good. You can see a lot of flyers were spiral around your dishes and this made me feel sick. But i would really like to highlight that the hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. This is the only advantage of staying in this hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
The Korean restaurant and store opposite the hotel is the good place you can get your stomach full...

The Staff Makes the Difference
The Koi ponds are beautiful and go by the spa to see the sculpture

Upon arrival, you know you picked a good spot for the money, the hotel staff is so great! Every time I needed anything or just friendly conversation they were there. Probably the most comfortable I have felt in the Cebu area. I would recommend this hotel for sure, but have a place nearby I prefer to stay. The pools are great and the nearby internet cafes, massage spa, and grill on the street make this a great spot to see local life as well.
Shopping Tip:
Just across the street lies one of the best massages I have had in the islands. The staff is professional and well trained. . .and all for around $20 U.S. for the hour, beats resort prices for not as good of a massage

Cebu White Sands At Maribago Bay Hotel
7.3
Cebu White Sands At Maribago Bay Hotel is a good place for a relaxing weekend trip. The rooms are comforatble and well equipped, the grounds are green lawns, its has its own small beach (nothing spectacular) but a big pool and a smaller one for residents only (as opposed to day tripers). The buffet spreads at lunch time and dinner lie around a while and have the usual filipino selection of grizzly fatty meat, boney chicken, tired salads and deserts that never quite live up to the promise of their appearance.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
when you arive at the airport, walk past the taxi touts, go out and cross the road to get a yellow meter taxi. When you leave try to time your departure for early checkin and buffet lunch or dinner at the excellent waterfront airport hotel.

Very nice experience
Quiet setting. Nice pools.

Very nice comfortable rooms on the garden deluxe level. These rooms did not have a balcony however, so it did feel a little enclosed. Very spacious and comfortable - separate shower and tub in an over-sized bathroom with plenty of hot water if that's what you're used to. The breakfast buffet was plentiful - no complaints. The beach is not really for swimming - more for launching water sports such as jet skis and catamarans. Do all your swimming in the pools - the water's perfect. Transportation is very sketchy. Taxi drivers want to charge either flat rate or meter plus 50-60 pesos. Don't fall for it. In either of these cases, just get out of the car and they will either leave or agree to charge meter only. If you don't mind the local forms of transit, you can catch a tricycle just outside the property which can take you anywhere for about 60-70 pesos one-way. The hotel states it has a strict policy against bringing in food and drinks from the outside, but no one is checking/enforcing this. Just put your things in a backpack or similar. Free bottled water is available here - just call the front desk and someone will deliver. Tipping 10 pesos for this is fair. We traveled out to the Marina Mall vicinity for places to eat - you'll find just about everything here.
