My lady and I spent three nights at the hotel recently and really enjoyed out time there. The hotel is well maintained and the customer service was quite good. Loved the layout, relatively small beach be beautiful. Pool was the main hangout and nice. Their restaurant was nice and food well up to par. Went on tours each day, tour of Cebu and then the island hopping tour. While the trip around Cebu was ok, the island hopping tour was a disappointment...just two stops and went where nearly every other boat from miles around stopped. Other than that, we enjoyed our visit and would visit again.

as mentioned above, the hotel is generally ok, a nice place for a quiet getaway, though I won't recommend it for weekends, or maybe we just had bad luck, but on the weekend we were there, there was a party on saturday which we were not informed of, hotel ground was swammed with outside guest n kids who occupied entire pool and were loud till quite late at night.Don't mind kids having fun, but we did pay for the privacy and the pool, at least a heads up would have been nice. no party on sunday but still had lots of local families with kids being quite loud.
locals and even cab drivers try to reap you off every moment (maybe just a Cebu thing, 'cause friends who visited Boracay had a different story to tell), they asked for tips and get pissed off when you tip them less than what they hoped to get.
lots of possibility for water sports in the area though, can go Island hoping, visit Bohol island, diving, jet skiing etc...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
if going to Bohol Island, and don't want to spend much being going with the Hotel offer, I'll recommend you 1-either take a cab to cebu pier(abt 150p),then a ferry to bohol where you can rent a car and visit the island OR 2- when deciding to go with locals, make sure you are in a small group AND INSIST on a large boat which will get you there and back faster.

You will feel boring if you stay too long
Beautiful sight of pools, beach and own garden view; great relaxation of outdoor massage; good buffet breakfast; good security that ask you the room no. when you go out

Stay 2 nights is good but stay too long you will feel boring; they will explain the call charges when you check-in; you have to sign the receipt the rooms equipment then I found lack of hair dryer and blanket, leakage of bath tap; finally they didn't fix the bath tap when I check-out; only 1 restaurant and will feel boring after eating 2 days
Restaurant Tip:
Delicious Grill seafood & Korean restaurant just walk 5-7 minutes at the right side of the hotel

5 Star Customer Service

The staff made this hotel a five star stay for us. They were friendly, helpful, and knew exactly who we were without having to ask. The hotel was family owned and had excellent security plus clean, well maintained facilities. We were there for Chinese New Year & Valentines Day to which the hotel celebrated both with superb entertainment and chef specials. The breakfast buffet had great variety for westerners and Chinese along with omelets and pancakes made to order. There is a scuba shop on the grounds but we chose a more local route with private tour & boat which cost less than Blue Coral (scuba shop). The hotel manager helped us book this. I would recommend this hotel highly for families, the lifeguards at the pools were very nice and there was a adult pool only as well. We didn't venture outside of scuba diving while we were there.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It is cheaper and you can get a private boat to scuba dive or snorkel if you use the more local dive shops. Not Blue Coral.

white sands resort cebu
nice room with balcony overlooking pool and beach area,my little girl loved feeding the fish every day,the pool is very nice we loved it,staff were very good with us and the breakfast is very good too...

we stay at the hotel for 3 days found the hotel very good and my little girl loved feeding the fish which were the ver big fish ,and she loved the swimming pool ,the beach area is only small ,so we spent most of the time at the pool area which is great also the ground are very nice and the staff were very good to us .the only fault with the hotel was the bathroom which is very dated and badly needs a re-vamp also found ants in the bathroom,but wound stay at the hotel again on the next visit to cebu,if you dont want a beach resort my favorate hotel in cebu is the marco polo
Restaurant Tip:
go to the maribago restaurant across the the road turn right as you go out of the hotel entrance 5 minutes walk very nice food ,at a good price and worth the walk...

I like the room that we stayed in the hotel all staff are very accomodating espescially the front office Manager and most of the staff are very friendly and they dont hesitate to ask us what our needs to facilitate our stay in the hotel. Food in the breakfast are great though does not have that selection but we are satisfied of what we have for our breakfast. Security is also very accomodating and we are 100% sure that we are safe inside the vicinity of the hotel. We are very satisfied for our stay and its really value for money and worth to go to cebu white sands at maribago bay. We are looking forward to stay there again.

swimming pool/ restaurant/ massage / beach / backyard with all big fish in the open aquarium

good place to relax
clean, landscaped gardens, nice big pool, large room, friendly staff. food was good especially the smoked marlin!

really enjoyed our stay. they prices were worth it and everyone was friendly and smiling. i wanted to go straight back there after paying the same price at a resort in bohol. (sherwood resort and dive school, keep away from this place. it really is a dive). i do however recommend white sands.

I enjoyed the lacation since we could walk to sight seeing .The staff were very accomadioning, pleasant and efficent.We enjoyed the music and enteraniment, the restaurant and atmosphere around the hotel, pool and grounds.It was very quiet and relaxing.a small resort but good for a few days and easy to arrange tours to other places.I would recommend this resort to other people.
Nightlife Tip:
Wonderful entertainment in the evening on the beach under the stars.

i find the hotel very nice, the staff are friendly, the room is very clean, and i was even upgraded to a larger suite room, there are two nice swimming pool and lots of very big koi and several other kinds of fishes, and staying in this hotel is very quite and relaxing, i definitely will stay in this hotel again, thanks to agoda for arranging my booking.
Restaurant Tip:
eat at the maribago grill or the cheaper kito's grill just to the left of the hotel
