International students home with view to the sea
quiet location, near to airport, good traffic connection (taxi)

Very clean. Room was quiet, beds were good, the bathroom ok. There was a refridgerator in room. The aircon was good. Free water.
I used to sit at the windy seaside of the stairway where some students had put there chairs for smoking.
Breakfast was included, but very poor so I didnt take it any mmore after 2 trys. No restaurant, just a little shop.
The stuff was helpful and very friendly.
We easily found some nice chat with international students there.
There are some restaurants not far away near to airport. You need a taxi anyway.

everything was prepared eventhough you can reload your phone at reception desk.
just little bit louder because there is an institution, but i enjoyed, because vary people is there.
i recommend you who want to travel and stay at clean hotel in mactan island.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
IF U want to take a boat with island hoppin, you can make a deal in Tadan intersection. Just go to the seesight from Tadan, then you can see some boats there. You can make a deal. I took a boat with snoekling 2500 pesos for four person. 2500pesos are almoost.. 70 US dollars.

ample parking space; relatively quiet (since it is located adjacent to the sea/bay); spacious room

notes to ponder on:
- it's relatively far from the commercial center (MEPZA 1); around 20 minutes travel time, by common land transportation, to savemore, fastfoods, and restaurants therein. no nearby secured "nightlife" activities. though it is located along a major road, thus, public transport (taxi/jeep) is accessible.
- it's near the airport. around 25 minutes travel time, by common land transportation.
- it's an english tutorial center. around 75% of the individuals we've seen there were foreign citizens/nationals (i.e. non-filipinos).
- the adjacent sea/bay is occupied by informal settlers.
- there is a security guard; but the compound is not well-lighted at nightime.
- wi-fi is available at the lobby.
Travel tip:
lapu-lapu/mactan shrine is about 5 minutes away, while guitar factories are about 15 minutes away, both thru common land transportation. guitar factories are located off the main road, thru a relatively rough road. adjacent to the shrine are restaurants catering seafoods cooked thru SUTOKIL.

Budget hotel for short stay

Arrived Cebu at 4am. It was Just a short stay at the hotel. Room looked clean with very basic amenities. Can't expect a lot with this cost.

the hotel is a part of an educational institute and is more like student dorms. we liked the ambiance as people were very friendly and sociable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Visit Bohol if you are staying in cebu for at least a few days

Cheap bear at bar. Bar tender and other staff was very kindly.

Rooms was clean and quite big. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Taxi fare to Cebu city was about 200 pesos. There was also lot of jeepneys, if you like to use those. I would recommend this for short time accommodation.
Travel tip:
When u r using cab remember ask meter. If you don't ask meter, they try charge some xtra.
