Nice Terrace with seaview

Location is not convenient. Spacious room with a nice terrace that you can just sit & relax with the sea breeze & spectacular sea view. However the bath & Shower facilities is so unacceptable with charge over HK$1100.- per night. Food of the restaurant is so nice especially desserts. Buffet breakfast is very nice too.
Restaurant Tip:
Desserts must try!

good resort for a reasonable price. close to mactan int'l airport. lots of different watersports available.
the rooms are clean, just a little bit small.
garden is spacious and well maintained.
private beach is not that big, but enough to relax and have a swim in the sea.

Great location with great view of the beach.
Beach resort facilities are ok for travelers who would wish to enjoy nature.

Great view of the beach from the hotel

Great location if you would want to relax and enjoy the nature. Stay in higher floors to maximize the view of the beach. Great pizza in their restaurant. Staff are friendly and were always helpful. Internet in the room not available. And poor internet connection outside, even if one of the facility is the internet readiness of the place.

Good Hotel - Not Great

the hotel is nice, a bit dated and not internet or wifi in most rooms. there is a new wing that might be worth trying. the pool is also good, i liked the pool bar. their beach is small, but cleaned, i enjoyed walking out on their sea wall.
the food and drinks were also good, but not great.
i would say that overall it was a good experience, but i was underwhelmed.

nice resort with spacious garden, 2 clean and cool pools and a small private beach.
several differen watersports on the beach available, most things are negotiable and cheaper than in the hotel.
rooms are not big, but clean and everything you need is inside.
Restaurant Tip:
restaurant in the hotel offers good food. the "pork adobo" is outstanding

I loved the Costabella Tropical Beach resort. Rooms were beautifully decorated and spotless. Staff were friendly and accommodation. The gardens and private beach were superb
Shopping Tip:
Has a Shuttle bus that takes you to either SM mall or Ayala Mall. I recommend Ayala Mall for tourists as it has a lovely feel and plenty of outside eating areas where you can watch the world go by

helpful staff in a great environment

we enjoyed the surroundings. clean, safe and relaxing. while snorkeling out at the pontoon, security would come out just to keep watch on our belongings. we were impressed. even boat touts offering island hopping were alright if you give a polite no. waiters were attentive and helpful at the restaurant. we just love the environment. we expected the standard room to be standard room, so no disappointment there. spa was relaxing. breakfast was enjoyable. beach was clean. swim during high tide and you enjoy. the only annoying thing was on departure, the taxi had no meter and charged p500. you are at their mercy since the resort is out of the way. it is understandable when you realized the taxi waited a while for a fare having come out of the way in the first place. good for quiet stay and families. many couples too.
Travel tip:
your expectation will make or break your stay. we didn't expect the moon, and got the sun and sea instead! for taxis, may be wait for the next random one to come along to drop off passengers rather than call for one.

Nice place to stay after 5 days of hiking

The hotel was very nice with a nice view of the ocean. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was great security. The only 2 things: If you decide to retire early it might be hard. I had the ocean view room and right outside my balcony and my first night I just really wanted to sleep but there were some guest who partied a bit too hard and spent most of the night into the early morning sing outside of my room. I also had some trouble with the wifi in my room. But overall I enjoyed my stay.
