good service but hotel not ok for business travel

Room was cozy enough but too dark to do anything else but sleep. There were no lights except for two bedside lamps. There were no sockets to plug in a laptop or charge a phone. You would need to unplug the lamps which will leave the room in total darkness. All in all, the stay was pleasant enough but i wouldn't recommend this establishment for business travelers

Was in a great setting, quiet and mostly relaxing. Cleanliness and maintenance needs a little work. And the peddlars on the beach ... they really spoiled our relaxation time on the beach, night or day, trying to flog island hopping, jetski's or any other attraction that you can think off. On more than one occasion we left the beach before i attacked them...

it was easier to find and not very far. the place is so calm and quiet. but later the night, there were korean children running noisily around the place we stayed. i love the trees. the pool is good but the beach is not much. but over all, i love the place...i want to go back someday...the food and the people serving us were so great too..

“Great hotel but dont use transport”

Hotel was great friendly staff, nice clean rooms great pool. massage was very expensive. 1200paso more than triple price of outside. but transport was a ripe off. The taxis had no meters and charge huge amounts to travel short distances. The trycicles would not give a price before travel and even if they did you had to pay because each one was call when u required it. I would not recommend if u want to see the sites but if u want a quiet getaway with the kids this place is great. we cut our stay short because of the transport.

i will never ever stay at this place again. it was just one thing after another with this place. make sure you get in the "west wing" if you care to have wifi access, or you will have to take your laptop out by the pool to get a signal. hotel offers no trans to town, meaning you have to call and get a taxi just to get a bottle of h20! yep, not even a store here at this resort. you have no option of walking to town as its far away, and believe me - you wouldn't want to anyways. it's a total so be sure to have your doors locked in the taxi. the drivers will try to rip you off too. make sure when they pick you up, that you see the meter is on and be direct with them. no real beach at all to swim at. oh yeah, for those of you who don't travel with your laptop, they do have a "business center" for internet - but they charge you money to use it, which i found to be rather irritating. i had an overall feeling of being "nickeled and dimed" my whole stay here.

its not too often that i am pleasantly surprised, especially by hotels in the philippines.. i had my doubts about this place but ended up very happy.
my wife and i loved the room, its location, its amenities and the huge bed. we had an amazing view of the ocean and the pools.
the staff was very prompt and courteous.
the restaurant was excellent. i typically don't eat at the hotel restaurant but this one was so good we ate three meals there. the free breakfast buffet was among the top 10 i have had in comparable 5 star hotels.
i really have no complaints about this place and will stay there again and again.
in fact we are thinking about upgrading to a penthouse next time.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
bring your snorkel gear or check it out from the hotel. get in the water and swim to the nearest island only about a 10 minute swim away.
lots of great scenery for photo shoots, great marine life and lots of paid water sport activity. if you book a paid activity you should most definitely shop around or negotiate.
to costabella - thank you for one of the few hotel stays that actually exceeded my expectations.

Breakfast was limited, beach was ugly and dirty not attractive at all. Order margaritas and sangria, was not good at all and overpriced. It was my first resort and definitely not what I expected it to be. I stayed in one of the bungalow and overall did not like my stay at this (resort). The only thing I recommend this hotel for is for people who just want a quiet place to be alone with someone they just met but don't get the bungalow get the pool side rooms.

well after the trouble and some problems booking in i found this hotel quiet pleasant.
the pool was superb,and food was ok but limited,but service was good.nice grounds to walk around,but paying for pool view,and was very dissapointed with pool view could see a little of bottome corner of pool only,would return,hotel does need some work on it ,looks good from disatance but when u get closer it is very jaded

despite my expectation this hotel turned out to be different from what wxited reviewers posted on Agoda. It could be because of the standard room we chose with everlasting noise of AC and dated TV (which I barely wat at hotels). But the most disappointing thing was "white beach" - in fact - there is a beach area indeed, but now beach where one could swim. They just created a small bay in front of the hotel which was 2-3 feet deep and that's all. You may stay there and try to walk out but you basically can not swim. Even worse, the bottom is full with weends and see cucumbers and small jelly fishes... To be honest, this was the worst beach I have been experienced for many years.
But. The personnel was super-duper friendly and I should give A+ to them. Same mark goes for food - may be variety is not as great but the quality was superb and we loved it.
Other amenities were of a mediocre quality... Massage was overpriced, taxi drivers alway raised the prices(unnesessary) and couple times we called for cabs - ther were unmetered ones so I have a feeling the hotel reps have some deals with them.
Snorkling tours etc. were at high price provided that nothing else but snorklin was offered for such trips - they better learn how things are set up in Thai or Vietnam.
Overall, it is a 3Star hotel with nice and friendly people but we would never stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
not much at all.. try to grab a cab yourself and drive as far as possible from this place:) or try to ferry to other islands
