Good and Safe Hotel
Good place to get away for the weekend. Nice swimming pool and 2 mins walk to the crystal clear beach

I would have explored the Hotel a lot more but the unfortunate events in Japan glued me to the TV more.
This Hotel is away (far away) from the city. Though it is about 20 to 30 mins drive from the Mactan Airport.
Breakfast is good. Rooms are alright. Can't complaint much if you book a standard room.
Generally, it is a good hotel to stay if your intention is to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.
The wifi is not good. I have been spoiled in Singapore in this aspect.
Shopping Tip:
Should drive at least 20 to 30 mins out for shopping in Ayala or SM.

Very nice hotel with really very good staff, ready to make you feel very comfortable at your stay. The breakfast buffet was very nice with lots of varieties every day. Very clean rooms. Also the swimming pool was kept very very clean.
Nightlife Tip:
The hotel is very far from the nightlife places. But there are two options in Cebu, either you stay downtown where you are close to the night life spots or you stay in Mactan by the beaches for your daily swim at sea.

The Costabella like many of the resorts in the Philippines is a little old fashioned and looks as if it's seen better days. However, within this price range it's as good as you are likely to get. Breakfast is included for 2 at no additional cost from 1 (something you need to watch out for in other hotels). Free wifi is a bonus although it didnt work too well in the bedroom. The service was good throughout. Breakfast had a good variety and reasonable quality (although not the Hilton!) I had a nice corner room with lots of windows, huge terrace and comfortable bed. My request for late check out extended to 1.30 was accepted which was helpful. Nice pool and unusually for Mactan, this was a beach you could swim off.
Shopping Tip:
Get a taxi to the Ayala centre in the evening for a change with good food, cinema and shopping

Good choice close to the airport

If you have spent your days in the Phillippines island-hopping it is really nice to finish off your vacation on Costabella, close to the Mactan International airport. There are not many good restaurants nearby but if you are staying only one or two nights you can truly enjoy your meals in Costabellas own restaurant. The staff is really nice and friendly.
Shopping Tip:
If you are experiencing a rainy day. SM in Cebu City is a nice shopping mall. By taxi from Costabella,

Quiet hotel on the water

The hotel has a very small beach but it is clean. Breakfast was included but only average. Staff were friendly. Nothing to do at the resort so you have to take a taxi to go anywhere.
Nightlife Tip:
Take a taxi to Shangri-La hotel and catch the sunset with a drink at their outside bar.
