Don't Expect That Much Guest Rating: 1.8

This is NOT a Resort at all .. and it's a misleading description by them to call it such.. It's a basic accommodation place that has a pool, one restaurant, and an expensive spa.. All prices are very expensive, and compared to what other places are offering, this is NOT good value for your money... Read the "Rules" section of the in room information, after you have checked in,, then check out !!!, for example, you are not permmitted to use an iron in the room, as it uses too much electrictity, so they will do your ironing at a cost to you..

There weren't really any postives about my stay here...They even have rules for your stay, which is quite an interesting read, makes you feel like a kid again starting primary school !!!!!

We really appreciated this hotel for its quietness, lovely garden and nicely decorated rooms. The lobby gives a good idea of what you can attend here. The staff is here to answer at your demands. Maybe the swimming pool could be refreshed and the breakfast needs a little bit more of choice and be changed more often. The beach is a little bit small but it is appreciative to enjoy a bath when you wake up. But in any way, it was very nice stay, relaxing and all our bids had been fulfilled.

Nice garden and staff always present. Very quiet, rooms nicely decorated.

Maybe the breakfast, a little bit repetitive with a lack of choice.

My family stayed in this resort last august 12 to 16 2008. We find it one of the nice place to stay. I request for a special table for our wedding anniversary dinner and it was arranged very nicely by one of the staff ( Mr. Johnel ). I would like to thank him again. He made it a very romantic night for me and my wife and also for the beautifull flowers that he prepare. Its a peaceful place to stay if your looking for privacy and a really quiet place to relax. I also enjoyed the complementary free diving lesson.

Peaceful, clean room, clean surrounding, quite good for relaxation to re-charge worn out energy.

Needs improvements on hot water service in rooms, because my wife's room and also the room of my daughter has very poor hot water output.

• Restaurant Tip : GreenPapaya restaurant near the hotel is one place where we found a good place to dine. Its new and the price is not so expensive. Food is good, i hope the food quality won't change.

We walked into the lobby and felt that it was too dark. The counter staff is not too sincere. The overall feeling is they are not too initiative. Inside the room it is a shock that the basic requirement of tooth paste and brush are not provide. Hot water provides upon request. The problem is I spent around USD1,300/night for such an environment and services is not worth.

The staff in guest service counter are helpful. The workers are polite. Beach is good.

Counter staff are not helpful. Room is too old. Things look dirty. Hotel is too small.

Tropical but not really 'beachy' Guest Rating: 3.3

The resort is far from everything, requiring expensive taxi rides all the time. It's a nice place to stay for 2-3 days, but if you are looking forward to spend a relaxing beach vacation, forget it. You better pay a few dollars more and go to the Shangri-La.
