The hotel was quite a surprise. It felt as if we got more than what we paid for. While the room's design was a bit puzzling to me especially the doorless (but with a shower curtain) shower room and the non-beachfront location the more than accommodating staff and management easily wiped my dislike for whatever shortcomings they had. The food were hits and miss but they are one of the better and more highend bar/restaurant in the island. The breakfast was great. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I will definitely stay with them again.

Quiet and Peaceful Vacation
Very comfortable room, everything you need. About 5 min walk to the beach (we rented a bike for Php150/24hrs). Close to other restaurants, stores and public market.

Coucou Bar hotel is an affordable hotel for budget travelers. Room is clean but the air conditioning system is quite slow, you still have to turn on the ceiling fan to support the air conditioning system. Location is centrally located to local restaurants and stores but if you want to go to the beach, you still have to walk about 50-100 meters which is quite uncomfortable specially when you want to go night swimming in the beach.

The room was good budget room,clean and tidy. Food was hit and miss, great spare ribs, but breakfast omlate was swimming in oil
