Beatiful Hotel

this was a great place to stay. the staff was excellent, the pool is beautiful, the room was modern and full of nice features, the food at the buffet was excellent. there was a minor issue in that we didn't connect with the shuttle picking us up at the airport. the staff more than made up for this with letters, personal attention, a free late checkout, and a free ride back to the airport. the location is on the water with many waterfront activities available. we never made it past the pool and the comfortable lounging sofas. the resort is a little bit of a distance from the city and a bit isolated.
Restaurant Tip:
Not too far away, by the statue of Lapu Lapu, is a number of seafood restaurants overlooking the water that are more of a destination for locals but offer great value. Our driver Paul took us to a wonderful place where we had delicous sweet and sour Lapu Lapu. You will be inundated by touts, so get a restaurant name before you get there. I can't remember where I went.

I love how the resort is layed out , so easy to get around. The rooms are large & the beds are huge, even in Deluxe rooms.They have 3 restaurants but my favourite is at the beach front overlooking the sea where afterwood you can sit or lie on large cushion on a bench, drink wine & dream. The prices are not cheap but the food is excellent & i have a delicate stomach & had no problems. You can do nothing or do lots with many activities that are available. I went on a jetski one morning, they offer a special for 30 minutes before 10.30am, great fun. Also they offer free transport to malls. I would highly recommend this resort as small, more personal experience, & the service is as good as it gets.

excellent place, design layout, ambience, staff very helpfull. There is only 1 thing i would change, the bed frame or base, when walking near or getting onto the bed you kick your shin or toe, maybe if the bed frame was level or under the mattress would be that little bit better, but its just a little thing. we enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Crimson for us is just a relaxing place to be, and we didnt have any need to leave to do other activites, (just wanted to be lazy and enjoy our time there) although there are many other activities that crimson provide if you wish to be have more of an active time there.

The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were extremely nice. We stayed at the Crimson for a long weekend with the sole purpose of relaxing and diving. The Crimson has a Dive shop on the premise, we went for only one dive because we felt the prices were a rip off. If I return, I would do more research on the diving options because the Crimson dive shop was ridiculously overpriced. Also, the spa services were nice but ridiculously overpriced.The staff was extremely friendly and the food was nice as well (lots of options). The only negative is you are somewhat marooned on the resort because there is not much around.

we had our parasailing here and this has been the greatest hotel that i have been here in cebu. it is very clean and has a good ambiance.

High end price but family resort services & crowd

This is out 8 times in Cebu within last 3 years. We stayed at a beach front villa with an amazing view of the sea. We are more used to modern boutique hotel so the decor is a bit too much, although it is considered as chic by local standard. The villa is very spacious, comfortable and has its own private pool. The only problem is that many of the Asian tourist (korea mainly) do not respect people's privacy. They come into the back of our villa repeatedly to take pics of the amazing view. We have made a compliant to the hotel but they did nothing explaining that it is very difficult for them to control what their guests do.
The spa is very spacious. The spa menu is average but they have very good therapist who are skilled at unlocking those tight muscules.
Food at the main restaurant is average but the pool side bar have great Grilled seafood local fish and prawn BBQ are excellent.
Restaurant Tip:
Go to nearby Shangri-la or Abaca - much better choices for dinner.

WE were both really upset that this hotel charged 500PHP just to come get us from the Airport and then return us back to the Airport once again!!!
We stayed in a night Ocean Front Suite that was clean nice and had a almost everything that we needed, BUT we had asked for a Micro Wave to be placed into the room for us, and two weeks prior to our arrival date during a phone call to them the hotel said that we could have one placed into the room only to find out when we arrived on the day of our stay that a Micro Wave was NOT going to be offered !!!! and for that type of daily rate we both felt it was a bad situation to have to adjust to.
The private beach is very small and has lots of rocks close to the shore which makes swimming from the beach almost impossible, so as a result we simply did the best we could do to paddle about very close to the shore line.
Hotel Feature Tip:
This Hotel caters to a great influx Korean guest's and that can be a bit of shock when it comes to thier manners during the Breakfast and other times of using the restaurant.
My wife was pushed and made to feel incomfortable while trying to use the buffet area during breakfast time....and as we come from America we give people lots of space and act with much more politeness than I feel than many other races tend to do.

Wholes layout is good nice rooms staff warm and friendly car park close by

stay was really good except full of korens who were very self focused and pushy but did not conecren us at all its just a comment.
