Communal areas is a little outdated and could do with renovating. Room was great and clean, though could have done with a little updating too. Very central location with everything at your doorstep - shopping, massages, cafes, etc. Good for a cheap and short stopover before moving on, especially if you are arriving late in the night and just want somewhere to stay for the night before heading out to the expensive resorts the following day.
Hotel has starbucks which is opened until 11pm and is great for breakfast, though literally next door the hotel is a big shopping centre with plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Seem to have very good family entertainment in the hotel though we didnt have time to explore.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
A great massage place right next to hotel, which is opened 27/7 and massage is very very good, decent and clean and super cheap (USD5 and less per hour)...so dont be fooled by the small and unclassy exterior.

It is my 4th times to stay at Crown Regency Hotel & Towers, with good comments during previous stay.
My first time to book this hotel through Agoda with a promotional price (very value for money). BUT during our stay, we found that the towel is quite dirty and water leaking in the bathroom, kettle is out of order too. The worst is the shower is out of order! Since we rushed to sight-seeing and shopping after check-in, we discovered very late night and it might be so trouble for us to change room for we had to check-out the next day!! I just inform the reception desk when check-out! Maybe it is my last stay at Crown Regency Hotel & Towers.
Shopping Tip:
taking taxi to Ayala shopping mall with short distance and cost around peso 80 / SM shopping mall peso 100.

Only stayed one night, as it was a transit-point. But, the hotel was very nice, the room was superb and the beds were very comfortable. It's a good place to stay if you want a lot of amenities. Felt like a Vegas hotel rather than a hotel in Cebu City. Several dining options and a club on the top floor. Would be good for a family who doesn't isn't interested in seeing the city, as the hotel is self-containted. You can do everything you want there without leaving.
Nightlife Tip:
The nightlife in Cebu City is dominated by locals. Be careful of locals who want to act as "tour guides," especially if you're traveling alone. They will befriend you, then take you to places with cover charges, expensive drinks and places they obviously have been asked to take you.

Well I would rate this from poor to don't go here. The service is not the best the hotel is made for men looking for woman or they have nothing rally to offer but the risk factor rides that are priced over the top. If I had to do it again I would make them pay me to stay there. The WiFi also is lousy as well so forget that. In all the hotels I have stayed including the cheap ones this is a nightmare. PS Please note that if you drive you will park in a real maze underground and they hook you on cost going in an out so beware as they are not very open to tell you, there plan to save on parking costs

if your a man it will give you some entertainment but don"t take your family there

the hotel staff were very nice and courteous.
don't stay on 9th or 10th floor, as no views, near swimming pool (yes!) and people tend to pass your room to go to it, noisy kids especially. loud music while you swim was just unbearable, and impolite i thought. why the hell do i have to listen to so-called rnb shite. maybe i should go to their house and play thrash metal. if you can avoid cebu, do so. not a great place.
the large spa pool was out of order (renovations) when we were there, so check it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you get in a taxi and want him to wait, make sure you know how long for, and for how much total ride. Most are dodgy and will increase price for foreigners.

very nice hotel. me and my girlfriend enjoyed the pool and of course the bath tub in our room. bath supplies are complete and the staff were really nice . very nice amenities and the edge coaster and the sky walk was the best. i will recommend this hotel if you would like to enjoy and if money is not a problem.

we went there for a little vacation. the staff were quick and alert. positive points: the hotel was accessible to places we wished to go, like the famous larsian, chong hua hospital, da vinci's pizza parlor. the hotel has an activity area at the top most floor, the sky adventure. the activity area had a separate access from the hotel rooms, which i think is good, security and privacy-wise. negative points: rooms didn't meet expectations. the room cabinets were not very classy, old tv. over-all, i'd say, if we paid for only 75% of price we got, hotel is good enough. hi'd say it's not a hotel you'd be looking forward to go back to next time.

Visit Larsian. best bbq!

Good standard of hotel with good service
The room was large, the hotel was secure and it was peaceful and quiet

i wanted to use this as a base for exploring cebu and its surroundings. most especially i wanted to go back to the magical and fascinating chocolate hills in bohol.
i got back to the chocolate hills but it's a bit of a hike from cebu: a ferry for almost two hours and then an hour or so driving. i was happy though, despite spending most of the day getting there and back.
as for the exploration of cebu: a bit tricky that as there are clearly parts of the city that are not safe. as i was in the taxi going to the ferry terminal, the driving locked all of the doors at one point and then after a few minutes unlocked them. we must have been going through an unsavoury part of town.
there are pockets of poverty all over the city.
Travel tip:
Take care! In addition to the above comments, I asked someone whether it would be possible and advisable for me to walk from the Crown Regency to the Alaya Mall and she responded: it's possible but you would get a lot less further than you think before you run into trouble.
