i stayed here because the price is unbeatable! however, if you wish to relax, this is not the right place. you will be disappointed because it is noisy. the hotel accepts a lot of students who do not know how to behave themselves. imagine these HR students are joining the hospitality industry after graduation and yet do not know how to behave. i can't believe this hotel brand was willing to sacrifice the good reputation they have by catering to the low end of the market.

old building, poor security, poor service, very bad location first of all let me emphasize that there are 3 crown regency in Cebu. so you must be careful in making your reservation. This review is only about crown regency, guadalupe.
the location is terrible, there is no malls, tourist attractions, decent restaurant (except for the hotel), near by. right outside the hotel are some locals who don't seem friendly to tourist.
POOR SECURITY. The hotel has a bar within its premises. and at about 11:30 pm ( we are already asleep) a drunk guy simply won't stop ringing the door bell. Where is the security to stop the guy? I have to call the reception to have this matter checked.
SERVICE is TERRIBLE. we did not ask for a wake up call, but the front desk called us up at 3:00 am and telling us it is wake up call. (I did not bother complaining, too tired to complain at that time).
second, the following We check out at about 6:45 am, left our room key at the front desk, after about 40 min (after eating breakfast), we went back to the front desk to confirm and settle any bills, but they are NOT yet done with it (there was no other guest at the front desk). I decided to transfer to another hotel.
FOOD is not good. waiters where talking loudly while we are eating.
NO WiFi service in the room.

Attentive,courteous staff, great restaurant and lobby WIFI service is horrible. In the three days I was there, I was able to get online only once. Overall, I was happy with this hotel. Amenities listed on hotel are available only by request if you're lucky. Like hair dryers. A full set of towels and toilet paper would be nice. As mentions, WIFI service is horrible. Restaurant Tip : The restaurant in the hotel is affordable and the food is good quality.
