Crown Regency Residences Cebu Hotel, Cebu

Overall, I was happy with this hotel. Amenities listed on hotel are available only by request if you're lucky. Like hair dryers. A full set of towels and toilet paper would be nice. As mentions, WIFI service is horrible. In the three days I was there, I was able to get online only once. I chose this hotel mainly because of internet access which was non-existent.

Well, although the hotel is a little bit far from the downtown, it is affordable, clean, & staff are courteous. It's accessible to jeepneys. It is near cafeteria & we love the lechon nearby. It has good facility except the aircon is weak. Overall, ok. We will definitely consider coming back to the hotel.

Maybe it has something to do with the hotel layout, which was sprawling rather than vertical, or the room assigned to us, which was on the ground floor. But the lack of a view, the window outside our room only had the concrete fence and TV antennas visible, greatly weighed down my experience, and made me feel it was not worth the price. (The wifi issue can be solved by doing it in the lobby, which was a little cramped.) But unless you are placed in the upper floors, you will have to bear and grin with the lack of it. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience: Courteous, accommodating staff. Great, elevated beds (although not friendly for very young kids). Accessibility to major Cebu City destinations. The most convenient Foodah supermart.

Overall, our stay at the crown regency residences is good. For the money, I would recommend this hotel. Not very fancy but you have a very decent place to stay. Plus the breakfast is very good, which was, by the way, included with the price. Huge and clean room and very good service. Great location is also a plus.

Nice hotel with modern features. I enjoyed the free in-room WiFi as well as the food. Oddly, the food was better than most places and the halo-halo desert with "ube" ice cream was quite tasty. Pool was clean and the jacuzzi can be made hot if you ask in advance. Good service and value. I would stay there again without hesitation.

The hotel is in a busy part of the city but once you enter the grounds you wouldn't know it. It is convenient to almost anywhere by taxi and taxis are quite reasonable. Security is good. Swimming pool is nice and with adjacent spa. Outside there are several shops and sidewalk cafes that looked inviting. Neighborhood appeared safe.

I would use this hotel again.

I stayed here on my first trip to the Philippines before I knew to look for a resort rather than a hotel. Hotel is a good match for the photos on Agoda but you can't really see how small the pool is, it is okay for a cool-off but not big enough for serious swimming. The view from my room was very disappointing, I was on the floor above reception and the windows were high up, I had to stand on a chair to look out, and they had bars, which is good to deter burglars but not really much use if you want to watch the world go by. One of the floor tiles also had a huge crack in it. Half way through each week there the hotel was inundated with students on some sort of travel experience and I discovered that this is a very regular thing. It wasn't a problem as such, but they did monoplise the pool when they were there. The area around the hotel is quite run-down, but there is a local market and plenty of street vendors. If you have to stay in Cebu City then you could do worse.
