Close to places to eat and to the airport. Clean and reasonably priced.

It isn't near the beaches, but I already knew that going in.

The Days Hotel in Mactan Island, Cebu is a good place to stay if you plan to just sleep there. It's close to the airport, and you can take a cab for under 100 Pesos. There are restaurants nearby, including Inasal Chicken. The free breakfast isn't great, but for the price it is okay. The city is only about 30 minutes away (or less) and you can see the Lapu-Lapu shrine right on Mactan Island. Overall, it is a good budget hotel.

Location is good. Breakfast is good and the staff are very good. Free shuttle back to the airport was well appreciated. The AC was adequate and not too loud. The beds were pretty comfortable but sheets could do with a revamp after so many washings. Price = good value.

No way of really getting in contact with them for pick up servcie from the airport other than cell phone. We did not have one and arrived at midnight so we were at the mercy of airport cab drivers who want 4 or 500 pesos for a 3 minute cab ride.

Overall - good value. Just need to have a representative stationed at the airport with a DAYS HOTEL sign to greet their patrons as almost all of their clients would otherwise have to deal with a Cebu cab driver!! This would rank their hotel up there as the number one Airport Stopover Hotel for Cebu!

The customer service is excelelnt . Tourist can stay here without hopping outside the hotel. The food is nice. The superior view of the beach and the marine life in the sea definitely entertain the people living here

It is hard to believe that there is a paradise in cebu. I spent 4 days here to enjoy the facilities of the resort. Each of employees in the resort are polite , offering a good quality of service you had nevr imagined. Preserving the marine life in the beach area definitely need a great appraisal. After all , everything here is nice

Shopping Tip : You need to bargin the fee with driver before hopping into the cab

smelly mattress.....

very close to airport, with free shuttle from airport to hotel. fair breakfast unacceptable price compared to crown regency hotel, with similar location... Interestingly, u have to take the TV remote from the front desk to your room when you check-in. mattress and bathroom is smelly, maybe due to the room is long-time vancant. Convenient Location to Airport. Good value for flight lay-over. Free shuttle to airport.

Hotel is well maintained but it is showing wear.

My wife and I have stayed at the Days Hotel Mactan Island Cebu twice and I recommend it as a place to lay-over between flights. This is the hotel where Philippine Air Lines books their pilots and attendants. The restaurant offers a nice complementary breafast and there are several local restaurants and shopping areas at the bottom of the hill approximately 200 meters from the hotel.

Shopping Tip : Local restaurants and shopping approximately 200 meter walk down hill from hotel.

The hotel is clean and friendly. Has some shops and restaurants nearby and is close to the airport without any noticable intrusion from aircraft noise.

The restaurant could provide a little improvement. The meals are Philippine centric and the international menu needs expanding. Also it can be a little expensive.

Days is a clean well run hotel with a good location that is convenient for the airport or for sightseeing around Mactan. I had a very pleasant stay there, the rooms were exceptionally clean and well appointed. \n\nIt all made for a very comfortable stay helped by the super friendly staff. I would stay there again.\n\nThe hotel is close to some very nice restaraunts and a supermarket. We visited these resaurants in the evenings and had some good Thai food nearby.

Restaurant Tip : Visit the restaurants at the nearby shopping centre for a good choice of international food. Turn left at the bottom of the hotel driveway and walk 200 metres along the road. The yacht club near is also worth a visit for a nice sunday afternoon.

Courtesy was pervasive among every staff we met. Very accomodating gestures. Even the staff at the restaurant were very warm and friendly. Certainly, there was nothing unnatural, everything you feel comes from the heart of people doing the service for the hotel. Kudos!

The wifi was truly disappointing. Although we came for a short family vacation, as a government official I couldnt help but be in constant communication with my colleagues and co-officials in government and the fastest and supposedly most easy way to communicate is through electronic means but the wifi provisions seem very poorly installed.

Generally though, considering the cost of our stay in "Days" all things being equal we could say our stay in the hotel is very much acceptable. Of course if the electronic communication facility e.g. wifi connections could be improved, then everything would have been perfect. Keep improving, this is the hallmark of customer satisfaction and success in business. Godspeed!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The location of the Hotel is strategic... very close to the airport and accessible to transportation. It is equally strategic for visiting historic and significant places starting of in Mactan, Lapu Lapu, then Cebu City.

Proximity to the airport and free shuttle between the hotel and airport.

Facilities in room need improvement. There was no tea/coffee maker or refrigerator. Also the water pressure in the shower and the water temperature was somewhat spasmodic.

Overall I was satisfied with the hotel. I think it was good value for money. The staff were very helpful and made us very welcome. This was my second stay at the hotel. The first time I had no complaints at all but this room was not as good as the first time. Also there was no internet access from the room although in the lobby of the hotel they advertise that free wi-fi internet is available. When I questioned this I was told that only some rooms have it but that it was available in the lobby and the restaurant. Splitting hairs I thought.

Very close to the airport, very friendly staff. Breakfast was okay, service good. Very good Italian restaurant nearby.

Furnishings a bit worn, but for the most part, clean. Looked like staff was working on improvements (painting, fixing things).

We stayed at Days Inn for two nights, on our way to and from Bohol. We were there in at evening and had dinner at the restaurant, which was tasty and affordable. The staff was very helpful in getting us taxis and advising where to go to shop for a couple of hours. When we returned from Bohol, we stayed there again and asked about nearby restaurants and were told there were nice ones in walking distance of the hotel. Had a great Italian meal nearby. The rooms were comfortable, nothing fancy, but fine for an airport hotel. Service good and staff helpful.

Restaurant Tip : Italian restaurant, La Teloco (?)

Cheap

The so called internet in every room gives you a signal, but it's weak and kicks you off all the time. Bedding leaves something to be desired.

Nightlife Tip : Rent a car to get around. It's convenient and should cost about 300 pesos an hour.
