lovely hotel, great service, helpful staff.
great for diving, off the beaten track so not too crowded or busy. great food

The Eden Resort was a quality mid range hotel.
I felt it wasn't too expensive, I got what I paid for in terms of room and board.
The diving facilities were excellent.
The hotel was lacking in enertainment and nightlife, but I didnt go there to party and drink all night.
A solid 3.5/5
Nightlife Tip:
there is no night life. its not a party place

a wonderful stay...beautiful rooms and quiet place
Reasonable price, clean rooms, fantastic view of the sea from the veranda; exclusive and quiet; only 15 mins. away from whale-shark watching.
8.3
This place is really nice for people who want to relax and stay away from the busy centers. The room is just over the sea and offers a perfect view on Negros island. The infinity pool is also a place to try. We really enjoyed our stay at Eden.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Whale shark at oslob is a must see! we snorkelled with them, awesome! only 20min away from this hotel via tuktuk.

alright
very good bed and rooms. Great view
7.3
the rooms and the beds are very good. modern and clean. the problem is the location is isolated and there is not much to do around the hotel. we planned to stay two nights but left after one. the staff are good. nothing wrong with the hotel but just was a little boring.

One of the Philippines best kept secrets
An outstanding location and very friendly and helpful staff
9.7
my fiance and i found the eden resort to be a real treasure. the fantastic location overlooking to channel between cebu and negros islands, the large and well appointed room, the fantastic pool - and most of all the friendly and very helpful staff - make this one of the great value holiday destinations in the philippines.
if you are looking for somewhere to relax and enjoy the beauty of the philippines, then this a great place to do it. if your focus is on shopping and nightclubbing - then this is not the place for you.
Hotel Feature Tip:
rather then making the 3 to 4 hour bus ride from cebu city to get to eden, why not fly to dumaguete and catch the fast ferry or pump boat to santander. it is only a relatively short walk to the resort, or you can catch a local tricycle.

superb service and environment
9.3
Stay there for 4 nights. All the staff are very helpful, cheering and warm. The rooms condition are fine. If you find the food is pricey inside the resort you can go to local stores nearby (5 mins walk) to enjoy the local dishes (turn right after u pass the entrance).

Great service
Right besides the beach you can wake up to the sound of waves every morning
9.3
I had a truly wonderful time staying at Eden resort. The rooms are big, the place is clean and the staff are always very helpful. There are plenty of activities you can do at the resort such as snorkling, kayaking, rent a mountain bike.. Food at the hotel is super tasty honestly.. its a tad bit expensive of cos compared to local standards. try the Eden special pizza and the pasta royal is also exceptional. The only small minus is that there's no TV in the rooms
Hotel Feature Tip:
try the body massage for PHP350. its well worth it!

Great service was the winning factor

Though Eden resort is no doubt a little way out from Cebu city but the 3.5 hours bus journey was well worth it. not only could you fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves, you can also take a dip at their infinity pool which looked really nice.
staff are really helpful in terms of giving travel suggestions or helping you to organise activities or the day. you could rent diving / snorkling gear from the hotel directly.
they provide wide range of food on their menu at the hotel is pretty tasty with decent portions. it is difficult to go hungry
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
go to the waterfall @ luka which is the next best waterfall compared to kawasan as it is still closed

Lovely resort living up to its name...
Excellent location for transiting to Dumaguete and Oslob
10
apart from the fact that this resort is some 4 hour drive from cebu city, i can hardly fault them!
whether using this hotel as purely a resort or just a transit point to dumaguete or oslob, this resort is top rate, in terms of their setting, maintenance (despite being 7 years old), location (300 meters walk to lilo-an port), staff hospitalities, and most importantly, food, everything is top notch! it is so good that we very much wanted to extend our stay if not for time constraint. if i have to pick on any minor fault at all, it's the lack of a sandy beach. their beach is good for snorkeling with fin, but not advisable for swimming bare foot, as there are plenty of sea urchins. their pool by the restaurant is one of the most beautiful (but otherwise small) pool i have ever seen, especially at night, it really gives one a feeling as if landing in eden garden. and the resort itself is a decent big garden, with delightful decors and truly well-maintained. their food may be a little pricey comparing to the village about 1km away, but trust me, it ain't worth traveling away for food, the resort restaurant offers one of the best meals i had in cebu!
massage (at 350 peso) can be arranged in-house, and all rooms are sea-facing, roomy, and well equipped. the baucony is a great spot to appreciate sunrise & sunset, as well as dumaguete a strait away. the air-con can somewhat be considered redundant if you leave the baucony door wide opened, it's cooling! no tv, but there's a mini-fridge, and walls are tastefully built with bricks. there's really a european flair in the rooms, not surprising given that the owner is swedish. wifi can be accessed with passwords in the restaurant/reception, and there's a little dive shop just beneath the pool.
to get there, take any bus heading for liloan port, and ask to alight outside the resort. otherwise, all buses heading to bato port can alight outside the ring road entrance to liloan port along the main road, just few minutes walk away.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't expect sandy beach, but otherwise, come here and enjoy the wonderful scenery and warm Philippino hospitality! And... the food!
Use this as an excellent point for traveling to Oslob and Dumaguete!
