Comfortable and quiet

Beautiful location, but the beach was rocky and shallow at low tide. The restaurant was ordinary. I ordered soup and a tuna steak. I told the waitress that I didn't want the steak until after I have finished the soup, and that's what I got, BUT, it seems that the tuna was cooked at the same time as the soup! The steak was COLD, tough and very salty! Almost inedible. Hotel pick up was expensive.

I stayed at Eden Resort for almost two weeks, and I really enjoyed my time there. It's a great place for relaxation. You don't have to worry about eating (the food was good!) and it is easy to make little trips to the neighbouring islands.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull, and the place was clean. Couldn't find anything to complain. The only down side is the lack of a proper beach.
I'd recommend this place to people who'd like to take a longer break in one place and relax.
Hotel Feature Tip:
You might want to spend your new year here. The hotel manager treats his customers with a free new year party including two bands, food and drinks... I was really impressed!

if you want to chill out and drink beer and watch the sun go down this is the place for you food excellent staff could not do enough for you i would recommend hiring a motor bike and go and see the whale sharks excellent and too top the day off go to the waterfall to swim peace full and relaxing after a great day out got to go more beer too drink and watch the sun go down excellent resort thanks for a great time

nice room with beautiful view

we stayed in this resort for 3 nights, spacious room with balcony of beautiful seaview room. although is not "white sand beach" outside but the water is very clean. it's very comfortable environments, the resort even very close to public pier which you may just 5 mins walk then take a ferry to dumaguete, 2nd big city of cebu which you may enjoy seafood dinner there.
also friendly resort staff with lovely smile. we have had wondful stay there.

and topped off by a visit to see the whale sharks who are just 15mins away

arrived late at 10pm, and was greeted warmly by the staff at reception. blown away by the infinity pool lit with emerald blue color and sky of clear bright skies!
bedsheets smelt lovely, and woke to an awesome view of negros. for the price, this hotel is a must recommendation esp if gg oslob to see whale sharks. regretted i did not book 2 nights, only one.. ;)
some of the western menu & drinks were not quite your usual fare (eg. my margarita came without crushed ice) but those are forgivable
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
whale shark @ oslob is a must see! we snorkelled with them, awesome! only 20min away from this hotel via tuktuk.

great for diving, off the beaten track so not too crowded or busy. great food

The Eden Resort was a quality mid range hotel.
I felt it wasn't too expensive, I got what I paid for in terms of room and board.
The diving facilities were excellent.
The hotel was lacking in enertainment and nightlife, but I didnt go there to party and drink all night.
A solid 3.5/5

there is no night life. its not a party place

Stay there for 4 nights. All the staff are very helpful, cheering and warm. The rooms condition are fine. If you find the food is pricey inside the resort you can go to local stores nearby (5 mins walk) to enjoy the local dishes (turn right after u pass the entrance).

I had a truly wonderful time staying at Eden resort. The rooms are big, the place is clean and the staff are always very helpful. There are plenty of activities you can do at the resort such as snorkling, kayaking, rent a mountain bike.. Food at the hotel is super tasty honestly.. its a tad bit expensive of cos compared to local standards. try the Eden special pizza and the pasta royal is also exceptional. The only small minus is that there's no TV in the rooms

try the body massage for PHP350. its well worth it!
