I was there at Cebu for two days only and chose to stay at this hotel
Overall it is a good choice if you wish to just have an accommodation , it is cheap and easily access to other attractions such as SM mall, Megallan s cross, etc
But there are not many restaurants around, perhaps this is Cebu ...

Good hotel for an overnight stay

We were 3 people and needed an hotel just for one night. Escario hotel was a good option. The beds are quite small for more than one people, but for one night its fine. As the hotel is quite, many taxi drivers do not know it.

The hotel is clean and there is a free wifi access. The staffs are friendly and accommodating. The room is quite small but given the price that you paid, it is already worth it. There are few restaurants near the place such as MCDO and bumble bee tea. You could request a taxi from the concierge in case you need one.

We were a group of 4 travelling to Cebu city for a day (actually the city has nothing to do). This new hotel is at excellent location (centre of the busy district) where you can gain access to almost everything (food, casino, etc) by short distance taxi.
Price is good, though utilities can be improved (e.g. we didn't have enough towels and no cups are provided.) Staff are very nice and helpful as well. It definitely worth the price.
Travel tip:
The hotel is a bit hard to find for taxi drivers but you have to pay attention to the sign, otherwise you'll miss it.

The hotel was in a great location, not far from business center and a short ride to ayala center, but best of all was the style and quality of the hotel and the room. The design was ultra cool, the room was big and was awesome, nice clean bathrooms, with cool lighting. The TV was a LCD. We didn't have a great view, but we weren't concerned as the room itself was so great.
