I don't have any problem with the crew itself but I noticed that during breakfast there were lots of flies all over the breakfast room and move their way from one food to another but stays most of the time in the bread plate.
Also in the shower room.... the water stays all over the place when taking a shower. There should be a divider between the shower room and the toilet so that water will stay only in the shower room. Just remember.... stagnant water harbors bacteria.It will not take long for the molds and mildew to take over also.
There is no hot water.

on a backstreet hotel, but nice
great value for an almost new, quiet modern hotel

I couldn't pass up trying this place as the rate was so low and ended up staying several days. First room was very small only enough extra room around bed to lay 1 large and 2 small suitcases. The bed was good size and very comfortable and nice flatscreen on wall at foot of bed, very convenient and with a fold out shelf beneath it that can be used as computer desk. Free wi-fi was good. Bathroom tight but clean and above average shower. The second room was a bit bigger but window only to an airshaft. AC and entire hotel was quiet. Staff very accomidating and they kept our large suitcase safe while we gone traveling.Breakfast and restraunt in general minimal and closes at 10pm. Line of small tables and chairs outside in front if u get tired of small room or want to smoke or socialize or watch the minimal street traffic go by. Close to airport in middle of mactan island
Shopping Tip:
Island Mall is a 10 minute trycycle and walk away. Keep address of this hotel handy as only about half of cab drivers knew how to get to it.

Clean room but small & noisy

My second time here & front desk can recognize me. The room 202 is too small for us & the room connected to the electric motor engine so we were awake from the noisy engine when it start.
The room is clean but the location of the hotel is difficult to take jipney to go to other place.

Cheap, clean bed close to the airport

For some reason, no cab drivers are clear where this place is located, so make sure you know. It is minutes from the airport and comfortable enough in the event you need a bed at an odd hour. My flight landed at 4:30am and I had nowhere to go until 10. For , I got a warm shower and a great nap in a reasonably clean bed and room. Internet speed was unusable, so just don't expect much. I would nap there again, but not a destination.

Maybe best value on mactan island

The hotel is a bit out of the way in the center of mactan island on a side street. some taxi drivers didn't know the way to it. The rooms are clean and modern although all are small and some very small. There is a flat screen with good cable on wall at end of a very comfortable bed. Also a folding shelf on wall at end of bed for computer. Staff accomadating for early or late checkout. Restarant not much and closes at 10pm.Free breakfast is skimpy . But they willingly heated up leftovers from an outside meal for us and gave us free hot water to use sachets to make our own coffee. Nice small area outside with tables and chairs for smoking or just getting out of the room and watching life go by on the usually not too busy street. Island Mall is a short trycycle ride away. The bathroom is small but sufficient with good hot water shower. Not a single insect seen in many nights at this hotel.
