Ok for me... nothing to write home about

The stay was okay for the few nights I spent there. Room was extremely hot with a very small window AC positioned in the corner of the room. My telephone never worked during my entire stay although I informed them of the issue on the first day I checked in.
Staff is excellent.. willing to help in everyway.

is ok poor breatfast.i like the room because its overlooking the airport, love the view. clean room except the bathtub. nice facilities as well. before they serve the breakfast. the bellboys and the front desk people are nice.

i booked a room at the golden peak for the sinulog 2011 festival. the hotel is within walkable distance to the grand parade route, so i just walked to watch the parade. the hotel's location is good--you can walk from the hotel to the ayala complex. there are nice restaurants around the hotel. staff are friendly and respectful. my only quibble is with their inability to give me a late checkout since my flight was at 4pm, but that's understandable. the hotel also doesn't have a gym. overall, it was a nice experience.
Shopping Tip:
Ayala Mall is just around 1km from the hotel.

Only two slow elevators for many rooms. Power to refrigerator turns off when not in room, so nothing gets / keeps cold. Hot water runs out quickly. Cockroaches in many places. Most lights are manually operated with hard to find switches. Continual problems with TV. "Hotel Advisory" states "...guests are discouraged to bring food, liquor & beverages as these are available in the restaurant and mini-bar. Corkage fee will be charge at 200 Pesos. For room service call..." Find another hotel.
Shopping Tip:
Across the street is an excellent massage parlor: Body Plus. I had a great 2 hour Swedish massage with oil for 550 Pesos. Further up the street is a good laundry: Blue Bubbles.

I stayed at this hotel Xmas 2008 & thought it value for money. However after my recent stay Xmas 2009, I would not stay at this hotel again. On arrival I found an empty mini-bar & no fresh water supplied. There was no information supplied in the room regarding numbers to call for housekeeping, front office, room service etc and there is a sign on the back of front door telling clientele that the hotel frowns on clientele bringing food or drink to the room from outside. On the second day, housekeeping forgot to leave towels after making up the room. I had four cold showers in two days as hot water was non-existent. I was also disappointed that the buffet breakfast apart from toast, coffee & juice was for Asian Clientele but didn't cater to those requiring a Western Breakfast.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The hotel has a business center where you can use computer at a cost of 100p per hour but if you buy an hour for example, you must use it by 12.00am or you must again buy credit as the credit expires daily.

This is my first experience with this hotel.. The location is a little remote, no major shopping close, however, there is Ayala within 30 minutes walking distance, there are a few convenience stores close by, but comparatively, they are very expensive.. The hotel is located on the corner of two main roads, so lower floors can be noisy, I was on the 15th floor, so I had no problem with noisy..
On check out, we had a big issue when the front desk staff insisted that I pay for the room, I explained my booking through Agoda but it appears they did not follow.. The accounts manager was there and it took about one hour to solve the issue..

直前の予約、予約書持参忘れの自分にも非があると思うが。部屋が確定するまでに時間を要したこと。チェックアウトの際に、あやうくルームチャージを請求されそうになった。すでにクレジットカード決済をしていたのに。また、呼んでもいないのに従業員が他の部屋と間違えて電気の不調を確かめに来たり、翌朝７時過ぎに部屋に置いてあった有料水の在庫確認に来たりして、迷惑だった。また温水シャワーはすぐ水に変わってしまうなど値段の割りに満足できなかった。
