Good Location for Mall Shoppers

This was a very conveniently located hotel for shopping at Ayala Center Mall. You can walk there in 5minutes and avoid all those Cebu taxi drivers. They had a promo of free wifi to the rooms but I didn't like the way they had it set up. You had to get a new username and new password every time you logged in, and without the promo that means a separate charge every time you log on, so don't shut off your laptop unless you want to pay.

The hotel location is excellent, room size is comportable and clean as well as breakfast food is very good.
The hotel personnels are all helpfull and friendly.

The hotel is just a walking distance to Ayala Center mall where you catch a taxi cab or "jeepney" to almost anywhere in within the city. the mall gives you more restaurant/bar options as well which is so convenient. food at the hotel restaurant is decent but cleanliness definitely needs improvement as black ants roam freely on the breakfast buffet table.
Nightlife Tip:
there's a nice music lounge right beside the hotel which plays reggae music and serves good food!

this was a good experience. i had noticed the hotel several times b4 during earlier visits to cebu, so i knew the location was good. 5 minutes walk from ayala. rooms quite big, mine even came with microwave and a sink, plus a huge fridge (stocked with drinks). free wifi, not very fast but okay to check mails and such. unusual for a relatively small (about 50 rooms) filipino hotel of that category, there was a free breakfast included in the room-rate, and it came as a buffet. which was very much appreciated, as i am so tired of those crappy "plated" breakfast sets they serve anywhere else. and yes, you could have another cup of coffee, and yes, no pathetic begging for another pack of creamer. the food was of good quality, and appropriate for such a rather small hotel. this is definitive a great selling-point for the hotel and will make me consider to stay here again during my next trip, as long as there is at least a thirty percent discount off the regular rates listed with agoda in place, which then makes it good value. but usually those discounts only appear a few days before the actual date, so dont book too early, otherwise you will end up paying the not-so-competitive full rate. only negative thing would have to be the not-so-comfortable cheapo-mattress, typical pinoy-style, plus the fact the "king-size-bed" was actually made from two mattresses put together. i wished they followed tune hotel's path and invest in some decent mattresses, cause it's all about sleeping comfortably in a hotel, isn't it ?
Restaurant Tip:
a few meters away in a small and rather dark lane you will find the "St. Moritz - Restaurant", where they serve solid Swiss food at reasonable prices, a good chance to get away from all the American junk- and fastfood-crap you have to endure in the Phils. Plus a nice atmosphere.

Great location within walking distance to Ayala Shopping mall. The room is quite spacious but decor is ordinally and bathroom is small. Had our dinner and breakfast but food was disappointing. We ordered tiramisu cake and it came half frozen although the display looks impressive.
