From doormen to guard, taxi organizer all the way to reception staff, all super friendly people! The swedish massages at 350 pesos an hour were so good, that we gave each lady a 50 pesos tip. It was nice to see that a converted $1.50 can still make some people very happy in this world! I will definitely visit the golden prince again if I happen to be in cebu…

Room was too small, and shower area was too small.

room was too old, and needs to be renovated for the room rate they charge !! i don't want to go back to golden prince to stay again unless their room rate is substantially adjusted downward, more like 50% discount !! and i'm not at all exaggerating about my comment.

Nice rooms (studio suite has big frig and sink) and Very friendly staff!

internet is so slow ! cannot hold a phone call on skype even a small download is five to six hours! in addition.... someone else using my ip address (on a private system?!)... the it did fix this eventually.
breakfast had good filipina fare, but only omelettes for western.
so my two day stay is judged on the slow internet!

This hotel is currently under a renovation, I think they will expand and that will cause some noise. I would recommend a room from the higher floors to eliminate construction noise.
Nice staff and reasonable breakfast, Ayala mall within walking distance.

service - staff was always nice and helpful, very accommodting.
rooms - the rooms are pretty basic, tile flooring and spacious. bathroom was a bit cramped though. hot water working well. tv channels dissapear after 3am though, i don't know why. but never complained.
location - its really great that the hotel is near the mall and near the business park. it's what i liked the most.
breakfast - very small choices and not much to eat really as the choices were too few.

Great location, staff always wanting and willing to help, cool location (good mall nearby), easy to get good taxi, clean, down to earth, friendly, homely - everything just works, including Wifi in room, no smoking rooms - all good. None of the expensive "plastic" multi star hotels have - I like it more natural.

It has a great location, and I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to stay into a not-so-expensive hotel with a great location for mall, restaurant, etc. the breakfast buffet is also good.and the staff is very accomodating--great service.

Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious and clean. Location is great. Though my stay was too short that I wasn't able to use any of the amenities except the wifi which was a bit sluggish.
