we didn't like cebu as a city to visit so it was lucky that the hotel made up for it, as we thought cebu was a waste of time... breakfast was huge plently of dishes to choose from so no problem finding something to eat. i don't have many nice things to say about the phillipines as a country to visit so best i leave it at that...

the room was in fantastic condition. housekeeping was very through each day, and the place was spotless.
outstanding service from the desk staff and doormen. will definitely be back to harolds hotel when i return to cebu!

I got an upgrade upon checking in the hotel. While the view from the room is not that nice, the room itself was very clean and spaceous. The bathroom had a bath tub which one do not normally expect from a hotel like this. The towels were new and the toiletries complete. The room also has a safe. Their buffet breakfast likewise has a good enough selection. The hotel restuarant, however, could have prepared better for the holidays. Since there were groups who reserved tables for Christmas breakfast, the hotel could have increased its manpower so service could have been faster.
Restaurant Tip:
Ayala Center Cebu is about 5 minute walk from the hotel. Once there, try Brian's Ribs at Casa Verde.

Very appointed regarding the breakfast. You have to aske for everything and the bread was out of stock. Even butter. The eggstation serving fried eggs and omelet are very absent. Conclusion is they lacking service and not able to serve the costumers properly.
Shopping Tip:
Better education of the staff and ableness and leadership and solve the problems from the management is lacking.
For example: If you do not get delivery of newspaper you gou out and get. And if you do not have bread you get!!! Very useless to walking around in a black suit if you are not able to direct and take action!

Harold hotel is a very modern hotel with extremely comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Good breakfast buffet although tends to run out of stuff when they are busy. Have already been back since.

i loved my stay here, the location is ideal close to ayala and waterfront casino, the staff are very helpful, the breakfast is fantastic and the room is just amazing, modern, clean, very comfortable bed, this is the nicest hotel i stayed in cebu.
