If your doing business within Ayala Center Cebu, this is the best place to stay. Just a 5 mins walk to the Ayala Mall and it is located in the heart of the business center.

Average hotel for Cebu City
Location close to Ayala Center Mall

I wanted to like this hotel more than I actually did, as it gets fairly good reviews. My first night was a late arrival, early in the morning, and my bed felt hard as a rock. I hardly slept at all. In the morning I peeked at the mattress, and discovered it had been flipped over, and I was sleeping on the back! Huffing and puffing, I returned the mattress to its correct orientation and was able to sleep well on it after that. I do suspect the mattress had been flipped over by a local who simply enjoyed the hard surface more than the plush side.
My air con had two settings: not-enough, and too-cold. I had to call housekeeping for my kettle, for morning tea. In spite of my complaints, this is an ok to average hotel, with minimal hassles for the budget business traveller like myself. The internet was slow but adequate, although it suffered by being wi-fi only in the room.
Breakfast was below average, despite a welcoming and enthusiastic chef.
In short, an average budget hotel for Cebu, but next time I'll be ponying up more money to stay at the Cebu Marriott, so my business needs (and soft bed needs) can be met.

Mediocre Hotel - Trying hard but Missing

The hotel is OK but it doesn't quite achieve what it looks like it is trying to.
There was no reservation when we arrive and it took them a long time to locate it. they also then did not have our room type so after some confusion they had to upgrade us to the junior suite which was again just OK, nothing special.
Not bad for the price but don't expect anything out of the ordinary.
Breakfast was disappointing too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Head out to The Tops, a mountain top that affords you a view of the city and Mactan Island. Go before sunset for a view by day and then at dusk. Beautiful!

we had an event an ayala center cebu so we chose a hotel that was near the mall since we had to be there very early and leave very late. we were very happy to discover that the hotel was very near the mall. probably about a 10minute walk from the hotel. we had a pleasant stay. the room was clean and comfortable and hotel relatively quiet except for a room near us occupied by a family (i suppose) which was very noisy even late at night as i could hear their movement and muffled voices from my room. other than that, i enjoyed my stay in the hotel and would consider staying there again for business. there is no swimming pool so not sure if i will go there for pleasure. there is a gym though.
