The staff was friendly and accommodating; 2) Beautiful landscaping, architecture and ocean view; 3) Value for money 9 Overall, the experience was great. Three best things are: 1. Great service. Value for money However, the staff can improve more on their knowledge about the island so they can answer questions on places to visit. Towels and linen can also be improved further. The linen supplied to my room was clean but looks a bit old / not as white as those in luxury hotels. Everything else was great. I would still recommend Hoyohoy Villas.
Rachel S. Groups United States of America, May 03, 2013	Relaxing and quiet Friendly staff, great location, clean rooms 9.7 I went to Hoyohoy with a friend and the resort is so relaxing and beautiful! We arranged for airport pick up and the driver, Henri, was very friendly. He drove us from Cebu airport to the port where we took a ferry to Bantayan and someone from the hotel met us when we arrived. Rooms are very clean and the restaurant is good albeit a little pricey compared to those in the downtown area. The beach front of the hotel is nice but I would recommend taking a tricycle to Sugar Beach or a boat to Virgin Island while you are there. The hotel provides free beach towels and will arrange a boat for you. The downtown area is only a 5 minute tricycle ride away and has lots of bars and restaurants. It was nice that Hoyohoy was a bit away from that since they play loud music at night. Overall an amazing stay and would go again to Hoyohoy!

Solo travelers Belgium, April 25, 2013	very quiet an peaceful, in Paradise staff, swimming pool, access to the beach 7.7 That's just a truly nice and peaceful place where to spend a few days, far from the crazy Cebu City. Beach is clean, water transparent. Go to Virgin island for the day, it's a small Paradise

The 'resort' is small with only 6 villas hence there are no large crowds. Food was excellent. Not much of a beach however just up the coast is a beautiful stretch. Had couple of issues with forgotten food orders. For price paid daily complimentary bottles of water would have been appreciated. Mini bar was stocked on day one but after no refill was done plus lack of price list in room. Bamboo frame around bed needs to be more sturdy.

Half lights did not work, shutters on windows very hard to open. Do not cater for all nationalities. Very limited menu especially for breakfast. (ok if you like fried eggs. Take your own tea bags) Shopping Tip: Very limited shopping. No general grocery shop. No ATM at Santa Fe.

Couples Australia, December 21, 2012	Philippines best kept secret Beautiful rooms, great vista. 9 Our family booked out this small resort (6 villas). apparently its the first time they've had a full house. While it ay be slightly more expensive than some resorts, the rooms are clean, modern and really special. The only comment about the rooms is that they have lovely windows that can be opened to catch the sea breeze, but only on 2 sides, with the 3rd set permanently closed, not allowing a cross flow of air. The grounds are lovely, and the beach area is your typical island tropical paradise. The only fault, and it is significant, is the long wait for food. if you are the only guests it may not be a problem. The food is great, but you may have to wait up to 2 and a half hours for it.

Couples Philippines, August 19, 2012	Great service but beach frornt is small Size of rooms, friendly staff, personalized service 8.3 the rooms are big for a 2-person room. the rooms are cosy with a very pinoy nipa-hit feel. the outside shower is also a grea touch. the place is very nice and relaxing but the beach front is very small and there are a lot of sea weeds on the shore, there is also a lack of activities on the actual resort - no facility for kayaking, boating, etc. if you want to swim or do something, you would have to go to other beaches in the island. the staff are friendly and accommodating. they make you feel at home. they would even arrange for bikes or tricycle to tour you around the island, they will also arange for a boat id you want to go snorkelling.
