beautiful sea and beach side.

service and amazing sea.

It was amazing that this resort is placing upon the sea so that you can enjoy really nice and beautiful sunrise and sunset for both and amazing sea view. but for the resort, electricity cut out during day time, 10am~4pm, only TV works, for charge. (that you have to stay without A/C during day time) and one thing I really disappointed was water problem, at first yellowish water came out, and after five or more minutes, gone. this is only thing.

The beach

Perfect hotel for relaxation and enjoying the beach. Food is good but a bit on the pricey side. Rooms are ok but needs some refurbishing.

Great place for couple

i like the quietness of the place and the great service of the staffs

this resort is best for couples who need much quality time. the place is very serene, quiet and it will make you feel as if you've rented the entire island for yourself. also, the snorkelling available in the island is just like no other snorkelling i had before. all in all, it was the type of place we needed to spend some quality time together. cheers!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: snorkelling is a must!

Nice & Quiet

Quiet without any disturbance from hotel staffs, crowds, etc
9.3
For any couple or family who wouldn't mind a hotel without facilities except the enjoyment of serene and quietness, this will be one fantastic hotel to stay in. My friend and i spent 4D3N on this island without much to do except some canoeing, fishing, snorkeling; we had karaoke session at the dining area with the hotel staffs too . The power supply only operates from 6PM to 8AM daily hence it is best to bring a torchlight and some card games. We went there at the start of rainy season that's why we did not get to try the island hopping but am sure it will be interesting. On our fishing trip, we were approached by fishermen vendors. We bought some mantis, crabs and clams, all were delicious except the crabs which they claimed are big but ended up small flowery crabs with soggy meat. Always negotiate the prices if you want to buy anything from local vendors. On our way to airport, we dropped by SafeMall to get the famous 7-D mango slices and machap. Will revisit if we would like to get away from the city crowd.
Hotel Feature Tip: Bring a torchlight along, the power electricity only starts from 6pm to 8am next day.

Wonderful to enjoy peacefulness far from the crowd

isolated quiet island, very helpful staff, hotel would organize your transfer to the hotel from Mactan island
7.7
this island is wonderful if you are looking for peacefulness. We were pretty much the rare few guests and all the staff's attention was on us. So it was not bad. During the high tide in there is pretty much no beach. But durin the low tide you can walk around the stilt hotel. It was beautiful, the locals are really nice, we did visit their village. The cons are all those sales people hopping on your boat to sell you overpriced items and food! And when you turn them down, they show a dark face. This is really annoying as you do not know what those locals want from you when they smile at you. And it s a pity. THe hotel didnt inform us how to get to the island. We only knew once we arrived that we had to go to the other branch, the cordova reef hotel to get a welcome drink and be transferred to the island.
Restaurant Tip: Ask to have dinner and bf on the bar by the beach!

Mixed feelings

Wonderful view of the ocean. Refreshing breeze. Nobody to hassle you
5
The only thing which we loved is about the view. it absolutely fantastic to open you window and see that your cottage is the water itself and the sea breeze is very refreshing. But thats about it. The rooms are very poorly maintained, the tv had only a couple of local channels. The aircon was so loud that we couldn't sleep. The curtains are very thin, so you will wake up once its bright enough. When we came in, we had to get the personal to repair the toilet, the lights among other things.Dinner was horribly expensive. Having dinner for 100$ in the Philippines is unimaginable. The portions were very small as well.In short every thing from the resort is very expensive. At night, the caretaker proposed to take us to the fishing village for the Fiesta. Well its a fishing village, nothing more to say on that. With his help we bought a a bottle of local rum , coke and snacks. We had to buy one bottle for the caretaker as well, we didnt mind at all..he was trying to helpful. So we had a nice quiet night. The next morning he proposed to talk to the local fisherman to take us out for snorkeling and fishing, although still higher than the normal price it was much cheaper than the hotel price(you can bargain with the guy). Coming back from that tour, which by the way was very enjoyable, we pretty much were left with nothing to do. At the resort the water at high tide gets only to your waist. Fortunately the resort has a sister company on the mainland. where they accepted to relocate us without much hassle. This hotel would be much better with regular maintenance, more activities and reasonable food prices.
Shopping Tip: get the caretaker to bring you to buy local rum from the village. Its way cheaper than the hotel.

Mixed Experience

1) Very friendly staff 2) Boat transfers available to sister resort
5
We arrived in the Philippines for a weekend away and it began great. Very friendly staff that made it easy to get to the resort. Unfortunately, the cracks started to show early - went to explore the island and a local man wouldn't stop following us (not good for a romantic holiday). Plus, the resort only has electricity available at certain times of the day. The restaurant only had about 10% of the items on the menu, and we got food poisoning from what was available, which kinda ruined the trip. The resort then ordered a doctor, without giving us a choice, and we got charged 5,000 peso's which used up every cent of cash we had left!
