On arrival I was greeted by the wife of the owner. cooked a meal for me at 1030pm as I had been traveling most of the day and hadnt eaten.
Now thats what I call excellent Customer Service

Overpriced, in difficult location, away from beach

Noisy from cockerels like many places on the island. It is hard to express how annoying this is. It is also far from the beach and not a good place to relax, in my opinion. For the money, compared with other places on the island, it is not worth it.

The rooms are very nice and big. Everything is clean. They serve a good selection of breakfasts and it's also tastefull. Try the Filipino breakfast with Tocino. Especialy if you're gone do some scuba diving, or have just done a early morning dive, and you need the energie. The general state of the hotel is good! Also with a nice garden. Hence the name of the hotel. They are a little bit from the beach, but if you don't mind a little excersize, it's definitly worth it. It only 3 min. Walking. So not that far.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
A good place to stay if you're into scuba diving.

Nice hotel but a little hard to find
One of the cheapest hotels I found in Malapascua

I stayed there for only one night, arrived pretty late and left early in the morning. The rooms were nice, but the cable didn't work, and they didn't have any bar or place to get something to eat. Overall it was ok though.

I stayed three nights to enjoy diving. The place is very clean, very warm welcome, perfect breakfast. And any advice you need, the manager will be more than happy to give, always there for help and make your stay as good as possible. And not pushy at all : if you want advice, the manager will give ; if you want to keep quiet on your side, you're also welcomed, and your way is fully respected. Really a wonderful place, and aside of the main hotels so it is really very quiet, without being far from the few island's restaurants and bars.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Of course the sharks diving : you have really to be on time because these sharks are... early birds ;) If you are late, you really drastically reduce your chance to see some. That's an easy diving and a nice one.

島の内部にあるので、始めは道に迷いたどり着けず通りすがりの現地住民の方に送り届けてもらったくらい難しい。しかし、住民の生の生活をかいま見たり、交流を望む人にはおすすめ。この島の人はみんな親切でフレンドリーなので素晴らしい体験ができると思う。現に私も道を訪ねたのをきっかけに仲良くなり、一緒にお酒を飲んだり観光に連れて行ったりしてもらった。感謝。
島の美しい景色だけを楽しみたい人は、ここではなく、ビーチ沿いのホテルに泊まる方が良いと思う。
部屋の設備は最新式で清潔感あり。トイレの水が流れにくいが、言えば対応してくれる。バスタオルも一日に何度も交換を頼んだが、都度快く対応してくれた。
