Very comfortable and clean for the price; very friendly and helpful staff. It is a bit far from any large shopping area or mall. Breakfast is meagre with limited choice. I was most impressed with the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. All staff - Reception, Housekeeping and Bellboys - were very helpful and friendly. It is not within walking distance of any malls or shopping areas but taxis are cheap and reliable.

too far from the shopping malls,the room was small and had no view it is about 20 minutes from the airport and when we arrived we where shown to the room and we were not happy with the room but was given an upgrade for a few extra paso , the staff are very good, would i stay again probably yes but i would ask for one of there better rooms.

quiet, swimming pool, close to shopping malls no fridge in room, no hanging space for clothes I found the hotel adequate for my requirements. You get what you pay for. The room was quiet. The staff friendly and effecient. The breakfast buffet was ok, again you don't expect 5 star. It is close to the shopping malls SM and Ayala and a jolly bee. I would use the hotel again,

I think the rooftop pool was very nicely kept.
The room floors are actually clean enough to walk around in your stocking feet.
The "Entire" staff was very eager to help in every way, (there was some apprehension on this, due to an earlier review that I had read.)
the food in the hotel restaurant was right on for the money.
The is a huge plus for the free breakfast, This is a five star hotel breakfast! With plenty of eggs, bacon, ham, potatoes, toast, juice, milk, cereal, fruit, and coffee!
The bathroom was clean and the towels were "thick" , bathroom amenities included face soap, bath soap, shampoo, and a toothbrush-tooth paste package for each guest.
The air-con worked just fine and was not noisy.
Those at the front desk were courteous and very helpful. (I know there was an earlier complaint about this as well.)
There was always someone to grab a taxi for you, and they come right up to the front door for you.
I have stayed in much more expensive hotels, and yes, they do have some other amenities that are not found here, but for the money, you can't beat this place!
Clean and comfortable, and centrally located to malls and city hall, Mango Park is one location that I will always stay at when in Cebu, Philippines. A drink and snack bar at the pool, along with some pool lounges.
The in room phone didn't work that well.
I have to say that for the money, I'm really hard pressed to find much wrong with this place. I found the location to be the most important reason to check in to this Hotel in the first place.
I had some business to attend to at the Bureau of Immigrations, this is what brought me to Cebu in the first place.
Once in Cebu you will be pleasantly surprised at this modern city just bristling with activity.
The rooftop view of the city is spectacular, with a good view of the harbor, and splendid backdrop of the rising mountains which surround it.
I really was prepared for a "no frills" type room.
Business was the order of this trip and only needed a place to sleep.
I have to say that I was so impressed that I plan to return to Mango Park with my wife and take in some of the wonderful sites to be had here.
Cebu City is really worth going to, there are some exciting places to visit!
Shopping Tip : This hotel is close to two malls, and City Hall, as well as the Bureau of Immigrations.
Night life abounds in every direction!

it was quite dangerous, the door lock was not to strong.
They were not fully responsible about what they have informed us (they said wireless is available in the morning and I was waiting till afternoon, then they said its not available). the place was okay but I don't recommend if you are female. The only good thing being this hotel the price but I would rather pay little more to have nice hotel.
The breakfast was quite simple not too fancy.
They were all nice and polite.

ok promo prices, ok pool, ok breakfast. A little far from Fuente Osmena, bad beds. The hotel is a little far from Fuente, but still very central and 5 minutes walk from Mango square. Its a little far from shopping. There is a Jollibee opposite the street. We brought 2 kids and it was nice with the pool. The beds need improvement, but all in all the prices considered, then the hotel is ok.
Restaurant Tip : Native food restaurant, Light House neighbors the hotel.

Good location, only about 160 peso by taxi to airport. Low cost hotel with small swimming pool on 6/F. Nice and helpful staffs. The cover is not clean and the breakfast is just "ok" to full your storm. Overall, it's ok for a budget trip. Nice and helpful staffs. Have swimming pool and with good location.
Restaurant Tip : Nighthouse Restaurant is besides Mango Park Hotel, the "little fired pork" is very impressive.

very near for CFO seminar office Location is also in a good place, and since a price is also reasonable, we recommend you with confidence. The "CFO seminar hall" held especially in Cebu is recommendation in the direction to which it comes to be immediately in the neighborhood and to take a lecture from rural areas.

The location is very convenient! the people is very nice! We stay Mango hotel for one night, the location is very convenient, the lighthouse restaurant which offer local food is just next to the hotel, and we drive to SM MALL only for 10 mins. The people is very kind,and the room is tidy. But the air-con is very noisy, i cannot fall in sleep at all. Anyway it is worth the money.
Restaurant Tip : The lighthouse restaurant offers very good food!

a good breakfast buffet, friendly, and i mean all of them, even the security man . Shopping Tip : the malls are nearby, only a 50 PHP ride and you will get at Ayala or SM market.
If you like walking , its less than 10 min walk distance to Ayala mall.

nice rooms close to bars and shops breakfast not to bad. reception staff need to learn how to speak on check in. i was just handed a card which i guessed i had to fill out and was just handed a key. no one spoke to me not even to say hello the whole time of my stay,house keeping are much more friendly and should be put on reception. hotel pool is more like hotel pond its a no frills hotel but for the money has nice clean rooms.

The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and the housekeeping is doing its job properly. And guests on the room are no problem. The AC is very old and loud but is doing its job. The hotel is charging for anything extra, even if you want some ice or to put you medications into the refrigator they take 50 Pesos. I can recomend the hotel to stay, it's clean and OK however the breakfast has very little choice and the pool is quite small. I arrived at 4 in the morning and they let me check in without paying anything extra. Armed security staff is in front of the hotel 24 hours (like in all better hotel or mall in the Philippines).

Courteous staff, clean room, great breakfast buffett and everything is within walking distance. The check-in was slow as the hotel is popular with tourists. There's a wall mounted TV in a separate eating area if you wish to listen to the news, but beware, there are smokers who could care less about your comfort! Finding the Hotel would have been difficult without a taxi; it's recessed from the sidewalk. I enjoyed their breakfast buffett while waiting to be checked-in. The Mango Park Hotel has a pleasant atmosphere, the room was clean and comfortable with wicker bed, table, and closet. When you exit the hotel, walk to the right, there is a handy laundry (check that everything is there, they kept my laundry net bag) and an outstanding restaurant. Further down the block is a fantastic dentist who assisted my friend with a root canal and cavity filling for about $150.00 US! There are many places to shop and download music to your IPOD all within a few blocks walking distance. I look forward to staying there again when I'm in Cebu. Agoda and the reasonably priced rooms is one of the reasons I love to vist the Philippines for two years in a row now! I'll be back...
Restaurant Tip : Once you leave the hotel turn right and a short distance from the hotel is a restaurant that opens around 4:30 pm. The food and entertainment is superb with talented musicians. Its funny that they sell steak by weight! There are local dishes as well as exotic ones. It was a dining experience I won't forget.

Reasonably priced and clean hotel... acceptable breakfast... moderate staff.. Poor furniture... no fridge in standard rooms.. This is my first time in this hotel... I tried other hotels in the neighbourhood and in Cebu downtown. This hotel is fine for a short stay, two or three nights... There are some open bars and restaurants just across the road which makes it very convenient... There is also an internet cafe if needed... A supermarket (Robinsons) is a few minutes walk from the hotel..

Reasonable value for the price.
Decent location. Roaches.
Rooms a bit drab. My girlfriend and I stayed here in November of 2008. The standard room was a bit drab and outdated. On the third day we switched to a suite for 2100 pesos and it was very nice. The included breakfast was ok. The standard room had several roaches, one of which was 2 1/2 inches long (I measured). I was considering having it stuffed as a trophy.
