i really enjoyed the blue bar on the penthouse. great food and perfect wine selection and the best view of the city! the breakfast buffet was a varied spread of delectable cuisine! from favorite filipino dishes to cheese and cold cuts selection. service was impeccable. the pool area was nice sunny and cool and nice to hang out during early afternoon for some cocktails. best of all, its just few minutes away from the city
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Tops Viewing Deck is also a nice attraction to go.

Very nice room- bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet which all made for a good night sleep.
I enjoyed the fact that the hotel had taxi's on site who worked exclusively for Marco Polo, because I didn't once have any difficulty in explaining where I was going or the fare.
Great little fitness center and an extensive and delicious breakfast buffet.
Great hotel.

loved the breakfast buffet. the staff was very friendly and accommodating. hotel had its own fleet of taxi cabs ensuring fair rate and english speaking drivers. fitness room was small, but well-equipped. i didn't use the pool, but it looked nice and clean. i would recommend this hotel for either business or pleasure travelers.

It is a very nice hotel, great location on top of a hill. Our bedroon room view was the city, next time I will request an ocean view. Service from check-in to check-out are great, including the waiters, waitress, gift shop.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If your plan is sightseeing, stay in Cebu City. Mactan Island is very far from all the historical places.

During my stay at the Marco Polo Plaza Hotel, I experienced the best in service from the staff.
Nothing was too much trouble for the personnel on duty.
They responded quickly to my small requests during my stay

Hotel Feature Tip:
This Hotel has a great swimming pool area, and looks very romatic at nigh time.
It has a very attractive lobby, and a fantastic restaraunt.
The hotel staff were very obliging and had a smile on their faces at all times.

the hotel is a little off the beaten path, but no more than 10-20 minutes from most of cebu's historical and modern attractions by taxi (taxis are almost always available on site). rooms are very nice (especially if you go for the deluxe class rooms and opt for the more expensive ocean view). one notable negative is the water pressure--very weak throughout my stay. the poolside cafe is nice, food okay, very pricey.

Had a wonderful time. I usually stay at this hotel because of their great breakfast buffet. In fact it is my fourth time to book here. I enjoy the place as it is quiet & provide a conducive place to rest after a hectic day. Although there are
no malls nearby unlike Marriot, I still find this place better. Will definitely come back on my next trip.

The stay at the hotel was great. There were lots of choices for breakfast. The Blu bar had a very good ambiance, great service and good food. Everyone you meet has smiles and greetings for the day so you feel very welcome. The elevators were fast and the scenic one was a must at night.

due to other bookings, i had to stay in two different hotels during this stay. it is very apparent that the marco polo is where i will return. they do things right!
