Amazing garden resort near the beach
The rooms are large cottages in the middle of a garden. 5 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute scooter into town. The staff are phenomenal! They are kind and helpful and went above and beyond to help when my friend had upsetting news from home. I will definitely be back!

Location, facilities, cleanliness
Location is good, not too far away from the "busy" part of Moalboal. Less than 2 mins walk to the shore. I stayed in their fan room and was satisfied and happy with it. Hammock at the balcony was a good choice. Hot water, clean toilet. Checking in was a breeze too.

Great location, fantastic place!
The place is next to Panasagma beach, just few minutes away. Lots of restaurants nearby, snorkelling gear rent shop, Action Adventure tours are on the other side of the street. We really enjoyed our stay there, breakfast was delicious, our cottage had fan, was spacious with a lovely view outside. Would love to stay there again! It was the best cottage we stayed in Philippines though our 3 weeks travel. :)

very nice accomodation
The bungalow was very big and very nice. The nicest bungalow I ever stayed in. It is near the sea and the restaurants. We had a complementary ice tea for arriving. No WiFi in the bungalow, only on the steps of the terrace and working slow.

Roomy, Bargain Accommodations
I'm a Moalboal addict and so I go there often (from Dumaguete). Maya's is a great option if you have a group of folks as the rooms are two floors and spacious. One large bedroom on the ground floor and three beds upstairs in te sort of loft layout. The stairs up are a bit of a chore. That said the place is convenient and very serviceable.

Great value for the money!!!
Authentic, great location, wonderful staff
My sister and I were backpacking through the Philippines and we had s fantastic stay at Maya's!! The staff was amazing and the location is the best. A 2 second walk from the beach and a really chill beach bar that provides beanbags to sun on! The huts are HUGE, we even had drinks out on our private deck one evening! They grow all their vegetables and herbs (maybe more too? We saw chickens and goats on site as well) and the food is homemade and delish. The huts feel very authentic, the place was welcoming and so fun - we didn't want to leave!! We recommend it 100% to any budget-conscious traveller looking for a nicer-than-your-typical backpackers place to stay. They give you towels and toilet paper but bring your own soap and shampoo etc. Safe in room was nice for our passports etc 😊
