I actually live in Cebu and was staying here for a little get away. The lobby is very nice and has a real old world Spanish feeling. The room was small and the furniture certainly needed an upgrade. Think about your grandmother's house. There was also a real lack of outlets. I had to unplug the tv to charge my cell phone. I still like this hotel, the price is good and the pool and grounds are really beautiful.
Restaurant Tip:
Maya on Tuesday nights. Two for one tacos and lots of tequila to choose from.

Rooms were well maintained staff were friendly about a 5 minute walk to a big shopping mall where you can buy basically everything you need. Breakfast could be improved on though but all in all a nice stay

Lovely Hotel and service with a smile

Near to the city, nice Country Mall shops next door with good prices. Nice hotel near to Mactan airport, near to Casino, near to Sunflower club, which has live bands each night.
Our room was in need of an update which is being carried out. I noticed new air con being fitted in the update of rooms, our air con was not that good, our shower was also did not have hot water, this did not affect our stay, we could have changed rooms, the staff were all very nice people. I would stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It is nice to make trips to Camotes Islands and Malapascua Island, the beaches there are beautiful.

I ordered a superior room..with pics i saw in Agoda.
- i see they are changed too the right one now, after i saw my room was different than i expected in pics when i ordered.
But i explained the hotel the thing...and they also didnt know, so they called agoda to change ..so pics fit right rooms...nice done...so people know what they order!!!.
Travel tip:
70 pesos into town with taxi ( 1.5 dollar or 10 norwegian...aprox...to big malls and more fun...

stayed 1 nite and was given a complimentary upgrade to deluxe room. large room nicely furnished but showing its age. nice large pool 3m at the deep end well chlorinated but in disrepair. beautiful grounds let you forget the location in busy banilad. location also good behind gaisano country mall with many shops and restaurants close by. good value for cebu
Shopping Tip:
ayala mall is 1 jeepney ride away 15 min. airport is 40 minutes php 200 by taxi in medium traffic. 2 malls within walking distance.

enjoyed our 7 night stay at this this resort hotel in the city. the staff were polite, friendly and welcoming. the hotel has a very good restaurant area complete with large swimming pool, and lush gardens. the hotel is also equipped with a business centre with free internet access. be prepared to book a deluxe room, as the standard rooms are small and dingy. the deluxe rooms are spacious, with more features and better facilities.
we would recommend this hotel for a stay when visiting cebu city.
