The hotel offers free wi-fi in the lobby but ridiculous cost if you want/need internet access in your room. The pool area is laid out among some trees and poolside tables at the adjoining restaurant. A modest breakfast buffet is included with the room charge. The rooms are not special but clean enough and certainly worth the price.
Nightlife Tip:
Formo nightclub is located near the hotel in the Banilad Town Center. Other discos are within a 5 minute taxi ride.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile

I enjoyed my stay very much at the Montebello Hotel.The staff were all very friendly. I would love to stay there again when ever i make another trip to the Philippines,great place to stay and a very romantic hotel as well. The breakfast each morning was outstanding and so were the staff. I really enjoyed my stay.

enjoyed it from breakfast onwards... the pool was great, the surrounding ambiance was like a 5 star resort. it was very centralized.. could get to all the malls etc. within minutes.
and if you want to walk around there is a mall just 2 minutes away. as well as internet cafes and a supermarket.

i had booked a deluxe room for 5 nights check in 12th feb, i was given a nice new deluxe room on the ground floor room 25 and was very pleased until 20 minutes later i received a knock on the door by staff telling me they had made an error and i had to repack my bags and go upstairs to what they said was also a deluxe but it was not the same type of room i was made to move out of. i had a mouse in the room and thankfully the housekeeping guys came and flushed it out.the breakfast is fine but the food i ordered from room service came up to the room cold 1 hour after ordering it. if you get food delivered eg' pizza it cost you 150 peso in corkerage! also check out very slow, allow 30 minutes for this process.. overall dissapointed with my stay here. will try somewhere else next time around.
Shopping Tip:
country mall easy wlaking distance, stock up essentials for your room. stop at drifters bar there for an icy cold beer.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Everything's perfect with family. They offer free breakfast buffet which is really good and all staffs are super friendly. I definately recommend this to others
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
there is quite big mall just near the hotel and if you wanna go huge mall, take a taxi to get there. However they have everything near the hotel. This hotel is really good if you want to relax

The hotel is good for it's location, there is shopping center nearby with just a few minutes walk. There are some good resturants in the shopping center, you may enjoy it.
The hotel service and the breakfast are quite good for its price.
The only cons is that the room is a bit old and it is not comfortable for the bed.

Upon check-in the front desk staff was less than customer friendly, in that she wanted us to wait up to 2:30 pm to occupy the room.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Be careful if you have allergies because the carpet in the room is not maintained.
