The customer service was great. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The fact that the room came with a mini refrigerator was great. I was able to pick up some items from the local market (including water) and store them for later use. Last best feature was internet access. The water pressure for the shower was very weak. In addition, the shower head was broken which made it even more frustrating. The stay there was pleasant. What I didn't realize was the distance of the resort (located in Dalaguete) from the airport in Cebu. It took over 2 hours to get there and cost 2000 pesos. The important point is that there's a bus at the main bus terminal that takes you directly in front of the hotel for about 100 pesos. However, once there I enjoyed myself. The view of the ocean from the restaurant was fantastic. There is also Wi-Fi in the restaurant for those with laptops and there's a computer there for use as well. The staff was great and the place is front gate of the hotel is manned by a security guard. Unfortunately, the lock to the door of your room is shabby and there's no place to store your valuables. The town of Dalaguete was great. The people are friendly and warm and I never felt in any danger even when walking alone. I met a few friends there so I will return and will stay at the Ocean Bay Resort again due to the internet access and the friendly staff.
Restaurant Tip : The restaurant was fine, but I would recommend going to one of the local shops for dinner and/or lunch. The prices are low and the food is good since they use a great deal of vegetables with their meals.

very good restaurant on-site, free guest internet usage in restaurant. staff polite and helpful. no in room safes, poor lighting, so-so on the cleanliness scale and room doors and locks are not very good The bus from Cebu city stops right in front of the resort. Upon arriving the staff were polite, checked us in and took us to our room. There are lots of flowers and the grounds are fairly well kept. The pool is well kept and the gazebo is a peaceful place to relax the day away. Beautiful sunrises, however the tide goes out and have to walk through weeds to get up to your waste for swimming in the ocean. The beach is ok, but not white like the pictures and not that sandy. The rooms are not that secure and there is no in-room safes provided. These would have been good during our stay as the armed security guard that was hired to protect the guests was caught stealing from the rooms, fired but nothing returned to the guests.
Restaurant Tip : The food was good and the prices were good, however the 10% surcharge on the restaurant bill did not go to the waitress staff but instead to the owners. I always thought it was the tip for the waitress/waiter.

scenery, outside relaxing and dining area, the standard room where we stayed is clean and tidy with a nice shower room, the cafe/restaurant is very nice comfortable and clean, the food is good with nice choice, a well stocked bar, friendly staff some improvements being made whilst we were there, there is also a dive shop which could give more information on the dives and availability I was disapointed not to go whilst I was there all in, was happy with my stay, the staff are nice, the place is clean, price reasonable, food good, relaxing stay, enjoyed my snorkeling with my own gear although you can hire from the dive shop, there is also a outdoor pool, low tide very nice to walk and see the star fish and marine life, crabs etc; the owners are hospitable and friendly, thoroughly recomended, will stay again
Shopping Tip : short ride into Dalaguete where you can buy most things, a pedicab costs 5 peso per person
