I liked this hotel. It has clean rooms and is located on the beach. This hotel has also a diving center. If you go there to dive then fine but if you plan to only stay there just to enjoy the beach, know that there are a lot of boats staying on the resort's beach. There is not a lot of space for swimmers. There is also algae and garbage in the water, at a few feet from the shores only. Lot of people trying to sell you stuff too.

The location is great and we had a room right on the beach but away from the bar. If you are into diving then it is a perfect option. We are not but could still go snorkeling and loved walking through the villages and finding small beaches around the island. We also hired a kayak from another resort and went round the island which was lovely. Would recommend that they get better paddles for the kayak though! Angelina's restaurant is the place to eat near Tepanee resort. Great Italian food.

Ours stay in Ocean Vida was very good. we stayed 10 nights with a ychild 2,5 years old and we all had a great time. There where more families with young children, even with babies but mainly, you will find divefrs and sealovers there!

We had a very easy holiday with no trouble and no worry. Hotel has its own beach, which is one step away from our room. Staff is very helpful and understanding! Drinks at bar are great! With the beautil view in front, nothing else more is needed! Wonderful experience!

EXCELLENT ACCOMMODATION RIGHT ON THE BEACH

There was a bit of a glitch with the airport transfer (3 hours Cebu to Maya and then 25 minutes banca)but as soon as I got off the boat on the beach, the Manager Soren Helm came striding towards me with a smile and a very genuine apology. And we had a free evening meal by way of compensation. This was indicative of the Resort's attitude and approach throughout our stay. Fantastic beach and swimming. Generally quiet - no discos or wailing karaoke joints. Mostly older people or folk with families. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great logistikk on beach, fantastic athmosphere
We loved the warmgenuine hospitality, the beachbar, and the diveshop attached. The room was large and spacious with a nice balcony.
