Isolated location, friendly staff

pacific cebu is fine for families with small children or people who want a budget resort experience (without doing many excursions). the staff was very friendly and accommodating. the management tried very hard to help us. the resort is very isolated, and while the room prices and food prices were fine, any outside tour is overpriced (and these are booked on-site).
there is no night-life on this end of mactan, so if that is what you want you may be disappointed. this place is perfect if you want to stay put, have a swim in the pool, and read some books for several days.

updated room, beautiful views and very nice staff
the view from my room, serene and quiet location and very friendly staff
8.7
there were pros and cons about the location: pros - quiet and away from the crowd. cons - kind of far away from the action.
room- very nice, updated with flushing toilets and air conditioner. the view was gorgeous (manta ray area)and short walk to the restaurant
beach - the worst part about this hotel. its more like a "bay", so its dirty and trash collects in this area. further out at the end of the pier the water is cleaner.
food - some good choices and price is alright. daily buffet menu change everyday.
customer service was wonderful, very friendly. people took the effort to know their guests...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Check out the different resorts in Cebu. Hotel will drive you to other resorts (for a fee) so you can compare other facilities and locations.

Nice resort but kind of "of the road"
Nice pools, good food, professional staff

Stayed at the resort for to days with my family which was really nice but would not stay longer. The resort is far away from everything and don´t expect much of the beach ......
We had arranged airport pick-up however the bus never showed up! They claimed that they have been looking for us for two hours out there, however we were the only ones waiting and pretty easy to find so we believed that they just forgot about it. At least they did not charge us for it.

This hotel was the highlite of my last stay in the Philippines.
The location is a bit of the beaten track but we went there for the resort and enjoyed every minuet. The beach was clean as was the whole resort. All staff were helpful and friendly, especialy restrant staff. Live music some evenings and for my birthday the restraunt manager layed on my faveret band and birthday cake. The 2 pools a good size and very clean. I look forward to my next visit.

Stay away if your from Europe.
God pressure on the water.

Every thing was writen in japanese - not in english. The receptionstaff was very unkind to us and maked us feel not welcome from the first tjek-in. We had booked 2 dobbelt-room for 4 people throug Agodia - but the reception said that there only was one name on the voucher and that was the cardholders, so there was a hugh problem and we coulden't tjek-in.because they only had dokumentation for one person. We had paid full price so we couldn't see any problem...after waiting some time the reception said ok you can check-in tonight but come bach tomorrow to traithen this up... we never did and they didn't say anything, even not at tjek-out..
Our rooms was ok but the linned was only changed every 3. day and we had to tell the staff after the 4. day and even then they were rud.. They had no internet for a week, so we had to paid for a month, no discount, no excuses... They overprices for taxi - up to 300%, and everything in the shop is overpriced - even water. We took a tuck-tuck into town and shopped grosseries. Better to pay the locals outside the resort, they give you a better service than the people inside.
The only reel god thing is the restaurant. Here you meet nice people and eat god food witch is not overpriced. We liked the "permanent" restaurant a lot but didn't tried the tents..
My recomendation for this place is to stay away and find a nother, closer to town and pay that extra it cost - I think the money is better given away when you dont need to feel so unwelcoming liked we did. You have to be from Asia and have bought a dive-pacage to thing this is ok...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
DON'T take a hotel taxi, the price i 300% over like the water in the shop. Walk out of the resort and take a tuk tuk (100 PHP) into town. From there you can take a taxi elsewhere. We visit the mall in Lapu-Lapu, malls in Cebu City, did the skywalk on Crown Regency Tower and visit the Taoist Temple. (remember to have a taxi waiting for you at the temple)

Since we booked only online with pictures and comments to back up our decision in choosing the hotel, we really were blind what were in store for us. We planned to stay the whole 4 days in the resort thinking that we can have fun in the beach, with many activities to do and explore. On Nov 1 before leaving from a local hotel enroute to the resort I called Pacific Cebu to ask for direction. I was actually hoping that they have some sort of a pick up arrangement for confirmed guests. Since none we just took a taxi. I started to doubt the soundeness of my decision in getting Pacific Cebu the moment we started to enter a small dirt road - which I believe was still a kilometer stretch. When we entered the gate my doubts were confirmed that I made a wrong choice. The place did not meet my expectations. The beach was dirty, the smell coming from the sea was foul, no activity where maybe we can watch or join or do was being offered and the only amenity was the pool. Since we were already there we used the pool although only once. To while our time we played cards, watched TV and we started to ask how do we go out and visit the nearest mall. We were told that we have to pay P700 if we want to go downtown Cebu and P400 to the nearest Gaisano mall. We find the price steep since our taxi fare from downtown Cebu was only P230.00. So what we did, we went out of the gate to hail a tricycle. But again we felt we were robbed because customers from the resort were charged P100.00 for just 1 1/2 klms ride. When I asked the guard about the rates of the tricycle they told me its because its a special trip which I believe was not since it was an ordinary/usual route of the trikes in the vicinity. It was really a big disappontment for us. For the last two whole days of Nov 3 and 4 we really went out of the resort and enjoy our vacation outside.
