A Tropical Paradise
Swimming pool - Beautiful environment - Very nice staff - Excellent restaurant
9
I was here with a group of 11 family members aged 1 to 59. We will conclude this is our very best beach resort experience in the Philippines ever. And some of us have been to many beach resorts all over the country!
The swimming pool is marvellous. Never crowded. All children and some grownups swimming more than ever in our lives! All Quo Vadis is very well maintained and swimming pool area is very beautiful. Food at the restaurant is good and all staff very nice. Prices reasonable at both lodging and restaurant.
My group occupying three bungalows. Only minus one of them where TV system was complicated to operate and the aircon very slow.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Snorkelling at nearby Pescador Island: Never I have been swimming with so MANY and BEAUTIFUL fishes. Almost like diving inside an aquarium! I have seen a seasnake (walo-walo)too. The quality of corals is fine. I have been to Boracay, Malapasqua, Panglao, Palawan and more diving sites in the Philippines. Pescador offered me the best "swimming with fishes experience" of all.

A beach resort with no beach
Great food in the restaurant with large portions. Room was large and clean
7.3
There is no beach here, only a rocky shelf going into the water.
Since the main road for the area runs between the pool and the rooms there are lots of touts trying to sell you things from trinkets to food and the general curious locals always looking at you. Probably not what your looking for if you want a beach resort.
Lots of dive operators nearby for the scuba diver.

one of the best place on Moalboal!!
8.3
Nice place to stay!! the garden room are very nice for the price and you will be straight to the sea! The restaurant is nice the people are nice but eat you breakfast in the restaurant and not on the bar if you don t want a discussion with the bill!! the boss (or wife of the boss) will not be nice anymore!! but still one of the best place to stay on Moalboal!!!!!
Restaurant Tip:
If you have breakfast included eat it in the restaurant bc other they will charge it!!

I don’t judge hotel by friendly service, since I never had a problem in the Philippine, they all nice and friendly.
The grounds are nice, well maintained, the room was large. We had the bungalow across the path 30 second from the reception, also the dive shop.
Few points: the Bathroom was all wet when we arrived in the room. You get 2 towels they aren't new or clean looking at all, my towel also have holes.
Remember there is no TV in the rooms. I was reading here the reviews by others; most say who need TV when you come to diving location like that.
And I would argue that your diving trip and diving is an hour, maybe 90-120 minutes, it will be nice to have TV for the rest of the time, that doesn’t mean I am going to spend my entire time in the room.
The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all in the room, I was told it is not working in any of the rooms. You only get it if you sit by the tables outside the dive shop, not super fast, but at least you can get e-mails.
I found the little village outside the hotel little boring. Take the tricycle to the sandy beach by far better snorkeling than next to the hotel.
The Italian restaurant farther away from the Hotel is much better (I forgot the name), you can sit by the water and the food is better in my opinion. In the place called Last Filling Station (also had 3 other names) we asked for margaritas, well it wasn’t a good at all, but they were nice to replace it and the second time they didn’t pour salt inside the drinks.
My biggest complain; the toilet bowl in our room and I assume in all rooms is the smallest size I ever seen in my life. It is practically for 5 years old pre K size. I had problem sitting on this thing, (I had to hold it in my hand so it wouldn’t lay on the board, or it will touch the inside surface of the bowl, :) you get the picture, sorry).
Breakfest was great, try the Philippine style breakfest. A one night, 2 nights max, if you are diving nuts, not the best in the world but OK.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Call this guy for pick-up or return trip to Cebu City.
He has a mini van and will pick you in your hotel in Cebu to Moalboal. worth the money 1000 pesos is a good deal.

Wonderful Place
cleanliness and kind staff

Stayed two nights in the Premier Suite. It was wonderful. The staff was very kind and saw to our every need. Could snorkel and swim right there at the resort. We took a boat snorkel trip and it was awesome. The resort is in a great location. You can walk to downtown very easily. The only downside is the food at the resort was not so great.
Restaurant Tip:
Don't bother eating at the resort restaurant. Just a short walk and there are more and better options.

The resort is good, we booked a seaview room, small but enought. The resort staff is very kind. Suggested for all the divers and snorkelers because there is no beach in the resort.

new management has meant higher prices for rooms at this resort, however there dive department, visaya divers, is still guided by the affable "dodo" who makes every dive a great experience. In fact all the staff here make your stay very pleasant
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
kawasan falls is open again , worth the trip
