During my 5 days at the Rad Blu, I discovered many pleasant surprises. To begin, the staff was most helpful in all of my endeavors. Morning greetings and evening good nights was par, but they showed extra care in finding restaurants off the property and most helpful were their calls to the motorbike rental establishment. Even the garage man showed courtesy and concern at all times. In addition, the pool was nice as were the exercise equipment room. I did not partake in a massage, however, but next time I visit Cebu, I will seriously consider it.

Hotel new, but service+amenities need improvement

Booked this hotel based on the high ratings it got from travel websites. This was gonna be the last leg of our Cebu trip. We were coming from Shangri-la and was looking for a city hotel for more convenient sightseeing.
Got dropped-off at SM Cebu, and as the hotel lobby was quite elevated, we had to drag a stroller and a big luggage up their high ramp. It was apparent that we were not having an easy time doing this, but the moment we reached the lobby, the guard firstly did the metal detector check, while the concierge offered no assistance.
Check-in was quick and staff was friendly, but we had to bring our own luggage up to our rooms, as again the concierge was indifferent and busy talking on their cellphone. Not a big deal, but at this point we were already missing the Shangri-la.
Quick review of the room - good size and tidy. Bathroom only had a shower and no tub. No wow factor really, and we were beginning to notice where the hotel cut on costs - only 1 slippers available (we booked for a family in advance), beddings were not soft, bed while big was really just average, only 1 set of dental kit, 1 tissue paper, toiletries nothing to note about.
Not really show-stoppers, but was really beginning to question the high ratings.
Other points:
Spa: good value and looked really new, where each massage room had a nice modern shower.
Pool area: some more trees or higher walls would be needed perhaps, as you could really hear the cars passing through, so not a relaxing area.
Lobby: quite a strange feeling in that it is very big, but I feel that the lounge could've been made bigger or more decor would've helped in my opinion. Maybe they are still figuring out what to do with all the space.
All in all, I wouldn't really recommend this hotel over other hotels in Cebu (that even have a lower price range). The premium must be because it is beside an SM mall, but other than that, there's no real value in its price.
Restaurant Tip:
The famous CNT lechon restaurant is apparently just around the area.

this was my secound stay here the staff are always friendly and helpfull nothing is to much for them.
we had a room on the 21st floor
when it rained water came into the bathroom
also the electrical equipment on the roof is noisy.
Hotel Feature Tip:
do not stay on the top floor
and ask for a corner room as it has 2 windows and is larger

I booked the hotel thru the net but the hotel staff allowed my wife (she arrived from the our hometown in Mindanao) to check-in earlier since my flight from Hongkong arrived late in the afternoon. She just showed them the hotel voucher I sent to her and they honored it.
Agoda's reputation and the Radisson Blue Hotel's staff excellent service are awesome. Expect me to be back in this hotel. By the way, I am becoming your walking advertisement!

We went to Cebu for a short business trip and only stayed at the hotel for less than 12 hours.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was nicely decorated and gave a good atmosphere.
We did not have a chance to explore the whole hotel but I guess we would stay here again if we come back to Cebu.

Very comfortable bed and large room with nice amenities. It is worth calling it a 5 star hotel. Anywhere you go, staff were all friendly and helpful. The buffet was really good for the price--Half price every Tuesday.
Travel tip:
3 min. walk to SM mall--a big shopping mall with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Safe to cross the street to the mall.

was here ona 3 day conference trip, loved it from the get go. about half an hour from the airport with pretty good wide roads most of the way for easy access, and taxis are cheap in cebu and plentiful. amazing water features once you get past some stringent security, gorgeous lobby and courteous staff. up to the room in less than two mintues and a beautiful one it was too. the ballroom was the expansive venure with great multimedia equipment for the conference and food was great. a couple of beers watchign the olympics at th epoolsidebar finished off the perfect day.next day i went to the huge sm mall next door where the foodcourt makes up for the breakfast not included at the hotel.
Travel tip:
try some of the local foods at the foodcourt at sm, you wont be disappointed.

This hotel is wonderful...I would come back there again and have recommended the hotel to all my family and friends. The customer services was excellent. They responded with a smile and were very accommodating. I was particular like the entertainment they had in the evening for guest who wanted to stay in at the hotel and enjoy the band at the lobby, that is such a good idea. I like all the bands that entertained us because they interact with the customers and were able to sing some of our favorite songs. Keep us the excellent services and you will have people returning to your hotel.
