Nice convenient hotel
close to shopping and party scene
9.3
I enjoyed my stay at the Radisson Blu. The staff were very nice and attentive and it was very conveniently located to the SM shopping mall next door and close to some nightlife and restaurants.

Grand lobby, proximity to shopping center, nice room

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. We booked a standard room but very fortunately was upgraded to a business class room. Room was spacious with walk in closet and spacious and modern bathroom. Service was very quick and gracious. The pool was nice and very clean with good service and food at the pool bar. The staff was very helpful and gracious. Location is very quiet and safe and good access to public transport being right beside a shopping mall.

stayed here for 2 nights. was very comfortable and well worth the money. i would actually expect to pay more for this type of accommodation. the outdoor pool and bar area was nice. food prices were a little high, but you have a lot of options at sm which is just beside the hotel. the rooms are fully equipped with the extra's you'd expect. bath robes, safe, slippers, wifi or lan internet, etc. get the breakfast buffet in the morning. lots and lots of selection from around the world.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The airport transfer seemed a little pricey. You may want to get a cab instead.

hotel is still new - rooms are clean, spacious, we got upgraded during check in. service is attentive. did not like the dinner buffet at feria - maybe the buffet is better during weekends as we tried it on a monday. food is relatively cheap for room service. place is near sm mall so lots of places to eat and they have a big supermarket.

Amazing location and nice rooms
Swimming Pool, Steam Room, Being located right next to the famous SM Mall

The hotel was nice. Room was very neat and tidy with the pool view. Me and my friend stay at the swimming pool and steam room all the time just because they're simply amazing.
The hotel is located right next to the SM Mall where you can find everything, from clothes, shoes, supermarkets, travel agents to banks etc.
I would like the convenience and great rooms at good prices are the best part.

Hotel is very grand.
Beside a shopping centre and very good service and hotel Facilities
9.7
The Hotel is just beside the SM Mall. They Mall basically has everything. Eg Cinema, Bowling Alley, restaurant.
One to take note is time. Every shops starts closing around 8.45pm. So if you are a late goers, don't bother pop by at 9pm.
Beside the mall, the hotel is very quiet at night. It's at the outside of the city central.
The hotel staff always follow up on your request which make you feel important.

I have stayed at more mid range hotels as well as the Marco Polo in Cebu which I suppose is a direct competitor to the Radisson. I definitely preferred the Radisson; location is convenient in as much as you have the biggest mall in the city right next door; in any case I preferred this location to the Marco Polo. Both hotels have excellent buffet lunch and dinner, it seems to me that this is the best quality food you can get in Cebu, although to be fair it is pricey. I think the Radisson was slightly the better for food, but it was close.
I like the rooms but I actually requested moving at one point as I was placed in a room with a connecting room to another room, meaning sound proofing was very bad. However the staff accommodated me with this request, and also were very helpful when I had any questions.
Overall it is, I think, an excellent hotel and probably worth the extra money compared to the mid range offerings.
By the way I found the internet service to be basically fine (albeit somewhat slow - this is not a first world country).
Restaurant Tip:
Treat yourself to dinner/lunch in the Feria restaurant in the hotel - it is a lot more expensive than the restaurants in the mall but it is the best food available by far in my opinion. If you want a very cheap option you can try the food court at SM Mall - enter through the entrance next to Radisson, immediately go down the stairs and it's on your right.
