Anthony S. Couples Philippines, March 14, 2010	Richmond Hotel (Cebu) Location 5.7 The hotel is near the Ayala Mall shopping center. It's location is just a 15min walk to the mall. Taxi's are readily available. The downtown area is just a 10min ride in a jeepney. The rooms are big but the hotel in general is quite old. The staff are efficient, friendly and reliable. If you want a hotel that's really affordable and is near the shopping center, then this hotel is for you.

Solo travelers Canada, March 06, 2010	Uptown, close to Ayala Centre Good location to Ayala Centre, big rooms, friendly staff and free WiFi 6.3 Ok value for the money, great location by Ayala Centre with all amenities available and close-by. Taxi to downtown is fairly close. The hotel has helpful / friendly staff and also offers free WiFi. Hotel also offers large, clean rooms, however, the hotel is old and in need of upgrading. Overall, I will most likely stay there again.

Groups Philippines, October 25, 2009	Not bad for an overnight stay good location, near ayala mall.. there's also a multicab passing infront of the hotel going to fuentes cirle 6.3 It's not that bad for an overnight stay. Metered taxi from airport to richmond will only cost P150-P170. I like the location because it's near the ayala mall and there's a multicab going to fuentes circle. But the hotel already needs some renovation and it's already outdated. The aircon really needs a replacement.

The location was fantastic for our needs and the room had all we needed 7.7 Overall the Richmond Plaza Hotel is a clean hotel with excellent staff who are more than willing to assist you in any way they can. The rooms are basic but clean and tidy with all you really need for a stay. The dining room was the only let down as the food was not very nice and the room itself was a little run down. The location is very close to the Ayala Centre, there is a jeepney stop just up the street and the Capitol building is a 20 min walk. All in all a nice hotel. Shopping Tip: The Ayala shopping complex is a 5-10 minute walk away and easy to find

Families with older children Canada, October 19, 2009	Richmond Plaza Hotel Great service and accommodating staff 7.7 We enjoyed our stay at the Richmond Plaza due to the polite and accommodating staff. We received all items we requested promptly, and with pleasant service. The restaurant served a good breakfast at a very reasonable price. The hotel is very reasonably priced but is in need of some renovation before we could recommend it to our friends. It would have been nice to have double beds in the rooms.

Groups Philippines, October 17, 2009	stay @ richmond hotel It was a nice stay in cebu richmond hotel 'coz the room was great i sleep well the foods at the restaurant was good and has a low price and richmond is not far from the venue of my seminar which is in Waterfront and it is also near in malls and other places where you can have your leisure time. 9 the hotel was good the food was good and low in price, room was good i sleep well and the price was also low, i enjoyed the massage room service at a low cost also and the hotel was very accesible to my seminar venue which is in waterfront hotel. The only problem i encountered is that the hotel don't want to issue an official receipt for my payment made thru internet, but it was already sent to me by agoda thru email also. And another problem is that the people in the front desk specially the man i talked do not speak enlish instead they using visayan language which i don't understand, hope richmond hire a more fluent in english employees specially those assigned in the front desk.

The massage is not bad. 3.7 This hotel was not what we expected, especially its surroundings. So, we thank God that Agoda is very helpful and we shifted to another hotel at mactan island instead. Shopping Tip: Don't be tricked into spending more than 50pesos for a taxi ride from richmond plaza to ayala mall.

Very friendly, well informed staff, very good restaurant in house. 7.7 Richmond hotel is located in a good area of Cebu city, a short walk to Ayala mall, restaurants, coffee houses and clubs. Very good staff, well informed and cooperative to help in any manner possible. I had breakfast only once the inhouse restaurant and was quite impressed with the quality of food and waitstaff. Very professional and great food. Only problem is the rooms seemed a bit outdated, somewhat drab, and can use a makeover. Internet was not available in room but was in lobby. A winner for a lower price! If you need just a room to sleep in this is the place! Shopping Tip: Walk to Ayala Mall which has everything!
